Great table, thanks a lot for this.

I felt that the game was a bit too easy, at least compared to Firepower or Sorcerer. Perhaps the flippers are a bit longer than they should be... I changed them to 115 instead of 120. Still experimenting with the best length :)

Haven't played this in real life but based on photos on ipdb.org, the gap seemed to be a bit bigger  :unknw:

115 is the correct length for a Williams standard style flipper. if I remember correctly from working on Cosmic Gunfight, rob046 actually measured a real flipper and converted it to VP units.

Looks great. I noticed someone tagged the download as "broken". FYI, its working fine here, uncompressed without errors so disregard that warning (and whoever it is, you probably need to update your file compression tool)

Thanx MRCMRC

I wasn't able to download it either. A screen comes up saying "oops wecouldn't find that. Contact an administator"

-It worked when I downloaded from the support topic page. It wasn't working from the first page.

Great recreation MRCMRC!  I would like to suggest a simple addition:  The "patch" to enable the Pinball Wizard / Nanotech diy kit analog plunger support.  Here's how to do it:

1) find the plunger object in the table named "Plunger" and change the plunger timer to ten.  (10)

2) add this piece of script (borrowed from Tales of the Arabian Nights 3.3FS Classic)

'PinWizard Plunger script
'Turn on the Plunger timer if analog plunger is detected

Dim AnPlNewPos, AnPlOldPos
AnPlNewPos = 0:AnPlOldPos = 0

If Plunger.MotionDevice > 0 Then
    Plunger.TimerEnabled = 1
    Plunger.MechPlunger = 1
End If

Sub Plunger_Timer()
    If Plunger.MotionDevice > 0 Then
        Plungers(AnPlOldPos).alpha = 0
        AnPlNewPos = Plunger.Position \ 2
        Plungers(AnPlNewPos).alpha = 1
        PRefresh.State = ABS(PRefresh.state -1)
        AnPlOldPos = AnPlNewPos
    End if
End Sub

3) save the table and enjoy!

Best Regards,

Todd.

Strong work MRCMRC! Nice upgrade from the previous version.

- I like the darker look of the table when it is in demo mode (this is just my personal preference, I'm not criticizing your work), is there a way to turn off those additional lights that come on during gameplay?

Excellent job!!!  Plays great on my laptop.

One anomoly I am having however, and i haven't yet given too much thought as to a fix, but the ball sits on the top flipper ONLY. Getting a snapshot is near impossible due to ball speed, but it is weird that the upper screen is rendering different on my system.

Cheers,

Maceman

@noah- ^^^ for some reason, the image host didn't let me post the image using the BBCode. It always does, but this time gave an error 'image extension not allowed on this forum". I tried a png and jpg. :)

Yes, I get this as well. Seems like this is not the only table doing it though, because I remember Trailer had a similar issue. Probably others too.

Probably others too.

Yes, Stargate too. Only with the upper flipper and worse on the desktop table than on the FS.
Must have to do with the field of view/layback setting. Either VP doesn't render that correctly or it's a nvidia driver issue...

I am leaning towards this being a VP rendering/layback issue because of the following:

1. Switching to 16 bit has no effect to fix.

2. I am on an Optimus Laptop and it happens on the Intel HD card as well.

Cheers,

Maceman

Now it rings a bell that someone (Noah? destruk?) posted about Randy Davis possibly getting back into VP development and one of the issues he was going to look at was the ball sitting on top of the flipper. So this sounds like definitely a VP rendering problem.
