I was using a 32" 1080p TV and everything was humming along somewhat smoothly, until I plugged in the 4K a few minutes ago. Windows Display Settings changed the 4K display (display 1)  to 300% Scaling (not sure if that matters), but when I play VPX, the playfield is very small. Can't remember if I know how and where to change this, but I've looked and can't seem to find anything. Any help would be mucho appreciato!

Are you on a desktop or a cab?
Best to have windows set at 100% scaling

Go into visual pinball editor preferences video make sure you select the right screen and the right resolution and HZ

Thank you! I'm working with a 2 monitor setup (playfield in Cab mode - portait mode). I did go in and change the setting in VPX Preferences / Video to Force Fullscreen and that seemed to do the trick. It's only allowing me to run at 60hz - was hoping for higher, but it feels pretty good.

So you think I should run it at 100 scaling for Display 1 (my playfield) %? Will it look better? I'm only worried because my eyes can't almost see anything at the resolution, but I guess I'll try it and see. Thanks again for the help and pointing me in the right direction! Any other tips, I'm all eyes and ears.

As far as windows scaling I run mine at 125

But if you run into anything goofy set the scaling back to 100 to see if it fixes your problem

For the HZ you want to make sure you match whatever your TV is

I run the playfield in landscape and let the software do the work but some people do ran in portrait like you

Thanks!!

I put it at 100% and upped the resolution via the Nvidia card. I set it to 4096 x 2160 @ 60hz. Now is that totally moronic overkill on the resolution do you think? I honestly dont know. It looks great & plays well but maybe I should try and set it for less and up the hz? My tv is supposed to do 120hz but I dont see that option anywhere...?

I turned my backglass to landscape and that looks pretty great now.

Running into a couple of weird issues:

EM tables are on tilt (cant get them to play, but they were) and some tables that were playing fine yesterday before the Tv change, now cant find the rom, I test it in VPinMame, everythings good, but have to press F3 in game to play, when I exit and restart, same missing rom message. Ill keep searching for a solution... and most likely post another thread.
