This is a very cool table. A spin off off Jacks Open, but slightly different. I love card tables.

I am picking away at this one....I have pretty much modded the physics so far for VP 9.2 but i would like to update the images as well. Working on a desktop version currently.

Does anyone have any good resources for this table? Thanx for the permission to mod as well Destruk!

Thanx in advance,

Maceman

The Jacks Open EM is my favorite EM to play in my cabinet.

I'm sure this one will be great as well.

Thanks for taking on this project.

ah its a Gottlieb good luck finding a manual  since

Gottlieb pulled all theirs offline due to 'copyright infractions'

but here is the link to it

http://www.ipdb.org/...type=quick#1282

there is also a list of pinball owners who if asked nicely  may help you by taking pics and stuff

I know it ain't much but it's better than nothing and that owner list may pan out

You are correct Faralos! This manual is VERY hard to find!

So are resources. I always pick the easy ones don't I? :)

Really, I only need the switch page(s) from the manual, not the whole thing, if anyone has what i may need, please let me know.

Cheers,

Maceman

Hi FD,

If you get a chance, could you send me the BG for this table. The rapidshare link is down on your site for this one.

Cheers,

Maceman

for the manual, you can still get inspired from the vp8 version here, the switches are in the script

Thanx arngrim.

The reason i need the manual is not for the switches only, but i like to scan and import the table image with the object locations. This playfield leaves it hard to know where pegs and such go as well....

Cheers,

Maceman

kewl another desktop pin! love the rubbers on the upper lanes

they look real old and yellowed was that the original intention?

or are they yet to be redone?

I am undecided. Currently i have a coupe different 'flavors' on the rubber. The yellowed ones are using pinucks rubber colour codes. You have to look at each ramp and write down the colour to see the different blends one can achieve.

The lower rubbers (bottom half of playfield) you can see are more new, grey looking.

What do people like better? I remade the targets to look newer. I like pinucks banged up ones as well. People can easily swap to what they want, i will leave both sets in the 'images' folder. You can even mix and match, to look more like an authentic able you find in the arcade, with a mix of both :)

Question: Does anyone know how to disable the rom, or rom sounds? I want to turn off the rom sounds while working so i can hear ball rolling and such...

You have one of two choices to lower the rom volume:

1) When the game is in attract mode, press F12.  A dialog box should pop up.  Set the value to -32 to set the volume to minimum.  Press the OK button then press F3 to reset.

2) Click on the PinMAME window then press the tilde key to open a white box underneath the scores.  Using the up and down arrow keys, scroll through the options to get to the volume channels.  Using the left arrow key lower the volume of the channel (or use the right arrow key to raise the volume).  Scroll through the options again to see if there are any other volume channels to adjust.  When finished press the tilde key to close the PinMAME window then click anywhere on the table to return focus to the table.

Hope this helps.

If I recall you can do it via the script as well. Check out my Joker Poker FS, I think i did it there to switch between ROM chimes and chimebox chimes.

Thanx very much for those tips guys. Very helpful to lower the volume when working.

I am having fun with this so far, but lacking some resources. Oh well, we continue.

Anyone have a Mylstar/Gottlieb Apron?

Cheers,

Maceman

Looks awesome. Keep up the good work. Gottlieb tested their alpha-numerical display first time with this machine. It was implemented to five units and those units had two extra buttons in front to enter initials.
