Hi,

Due to some problems i had to reinstall windows 10.

Since the new installation every time i try to start a table on vpx it crashes and i need to close the application through task manager. Then when i restart vpx again and try to run the same table it starts without any problem.

Is there some setting i need to change in vpx or some setting in windows ?

Before the reinstallation of windows 10 i never had any problems with vpx.

Best regards,

I don't think you are telling the whole story. Is it really every vpx table crashes on first run or ?? What about EM's ? What about File -> New ?

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

Until now every table that i start with F5 stops vpx and i need to kill it with taskmanager. When i restart vpx the table runs fine. If i close this table and pick another one the same thing happens and i need to repeat the whole process again.

Maybe a dumb question, but what are EM's ?

just tried File -> new, also the same problem happens. Press F5 and the vpx crashes and i need to kill it through taskmanager.

EM are games that do not require a rom - Usually 1976 and older

ok will try and let you know, thanks :)

tried some older tables, the same thing happens. First time load table, crash, kill in taskmanager, restart vpx and table runs fine.

I tried to run as administrator, tried several compatibilty options, but the problems persist.

And turn off Windows Defender - at least - don't let it run checking the folders you have used for VP.

thank you all for the information. problem solved. I reinstalled with the all-in-one installer and installed the visual c++ redistributables, rebooted the pc and everything worked fine again.

Best regards and thanks again for the help.
