File Name: Lortium (Juegos Populares 1987)

File Submitter: mfuegemann

File Submitted: 03 Sep 2019

File Category: VPX/VPinMAME Recreations

Author(s): mfuegemann
akiles50000
Manufacturer: Other - Pinball
Year: 1987
ROM: Link to ROM
Permission to MOD?: Yes, without approval

This is the VPX recreation of Lortium by Juegos Populäres (1987). There seem to be a version made by Automaticos MonteCarlo with different bumper caps and target decals.

It was almost impossible to get decent images of the playfield and plastics. So finally Akiles bought a playfield of Lortium, scanned it and finished the redraw.
I used the plastics images, we had, to combine and redraw a plastics set.

Flupper's Blender ramp tutorial was useful again. The outcome is Incredible and with almost no effort on my side.

Some of table objects have been created by dark and GTXJoe (screws, light bulbs, gates).
Arngrim added the DOF calls to version 1.1.

Please be aware that You Need the 7KB ROM file availiable at tecnopinball.org.

Have fun
Michael

Thanks to you and Akiles, I know that's what people say each time you upload a table, but it's true that without you, we would never have played all these rare tables ! :love39:

I know it was a long hard process to get all the resources to make this table to your standards. Thank you so much for sticking with it and all the hard work you put into this. Batch said it best when he said "without you, we would never have played all these rare tables" and for that I thank you. You have immortalized these rare gems. I am looking forward to playing this beauty!!!

I think those red bars were an ingenious use of a captive ball implemented where one could never be positioned through normal means.

This is a fun and unique game with unique rules. Who ever heard of a game that gives an extra ball for 3 consecutive ramp shots? Sounds easy right? Nope!

Thank you alikes50000 and Michael for this new Spanish pinball experience!

Are you sure that the slingshot shoots?

Here my suggestion for cab users:

Hi Mustang,

the slingshot fires. Maybe You can adjust the upper edge point mor towards the rubber, so that the invisible edge is smaller.

Hello Michael,

I tried to pm you but your inbox is full

here's my message here

Hello Michael,

Today i got a request to add dof to one of your table, i totally missed it when it was released, so i completed the DOF and made the necessary adjustments in the script for it.

https://pastebin.com/d4iRiuQd

I added the DOF commands to have for example the flippers working, and to split some of the shared switches

If you can do a release with it so everybody can benefit it?

Thanks and cheers

Denis
