I swear, I get the most ridiculous problems.
Wanted to try out a new VPin board (Sleic Pinball) on my cabinet. Downloaded the cabinet version of the game, got the proper ROM (Petaco.zip), and installed. The score came up in a little window at the upper left of the play field. No prob, just drag it to the backglass and position it there. I turned on the score window border so I could re-size it to fit the backglass's score area (like I've done to many other boards). After positioning it, I shut off the border again, and the window reverted to its original size. Odd, but no prob, just do it again. I moved the mouse pointer towards the score window... and it jumped away about 100 pixels to the left. Long story made not as long, I chased the score window off the backglass, onto the playfield hoping it would stop where the screen ran out, and it jumped off the screen entirely. Using alt-tab to select the window shows a space for it, but nothing inside it (no display).
OK, I dun goofed. Maybe I can revert the board to "factory specs." I installed the game on another computer and the score was right where it should be. So, I searched throughout the VPin and VPmame directories for anything that mentioned "Sleic" or "Petaco" and copied those files and configs to a USB stick to transplant them to my cabinet. Needless to say, it didn't work.
Does anyone have a clue on how to go about either repositioning the score window back to a visible area on the screen, or "resetting" a VPin back to "factory" settings, or any other information that might prove helpful?
Thanks.
