I am new to Visual Pinball. I have a question about DMD. When I first added Kiss Stern, the scoreboard worked perfect. After installing I think it was ghostbusters that did a registry change and some other things, now the scoreboard in older games is blacked out. When first running a table (kiss or sinbad) , it will flash the score, then when finished loading it goes black. When I atl tab it shows up working perfect, but when back to game it is blacked out again. Please help. I am running a single monitor.

If you talk about the Ghostbusters LE table then you most likely won't get support here. This table is "banned" because it contains some stolen code and Stern wasn't happy about that. Best solution would be to uninstall the table with all the scribts that came with and use a legit mod like JP's Ghostbusters Slimer or The Real Ghostbusters, these tables won't use the forbidden code. Always keep in mind our hobby is in an grey area and the community tries not to anger the rights holders because they easily could put an end to all of it.

Ok, thank you. I will unistall it and go from there. Okay, I deleted it from tables folder. I could not find and files named ghostbusters in the scripts folder. I downloaded the real ghostbusters from vpuniverse. Can I get help now for my Dmd problem with older games?  Does it have anything to do with Flexdmd? Also a wierd note, when I first added Kiss table, the roms showed good. Now when loading I get checksum errors on rom, but game still plays. And some old ones like evel knievel, I have to load with 64 bit, get error with 32 bit when they used to load fine before using 32 bit vPinballx.exe.

I'm pretty new here myself, so I do really hope someone more experienced will come up with a better idea. Just in case no one else will have a more smart solution, you proably need to reinstall everything again. When you say the tables were working before, it sounds like the GB install messed sonething up and I absolutely don't know what and how to fix.

And I don't really know much about single-screen setups (I have a 3-screen cabinet)...

But on my dual-monitor desktop, I did install VPX to do some dev-work. Seems like the DMDs just appeared with no problems.

Have you tried temporarily disabling Exclusive Full-Screen Mode in VPX-Video-Prefs?

A table with a rom-based DMD should show DMD by default ... so you just grab it and drag it where you want.

F1 is the settings for vPinMame.

Once you get correct, re-enable Exclusive Full-Screen Mode (to get your speed-boost back).

When I press F1, it does nothing in the Kiss table. Other tables it does work. Kiss is displaying the DMD behind the table screen.

When I press Alt Tab it shows up with score and everything, along with Vp loader and Kiss table. Just like one would have multiple tabs open in windows. Just one tab displays, the table.I wish I could add a screenshot

I uninstalled visual pinball with revo uninstaller like neophyte said to do. Never seen so many registry entries to delete, holy moly. I re-installed using The Baller Installer and the score is showing up now and Kiss table is working properly. Thanks all for the help!
