I've just discover how fix a problem I had with audio volume with some tables.

Sometimes I try different versions of the table for choose the best.

In the NVRAM folder a file is created when a new table runs.

Then, that file can create problem with the volume changing table.

It must be deleted.

I hope it can help someone.

If you delete the nvram file you loose all the settings for the rom, including highscores.

this is true, but once in a while you get a table that does something funky, which vpm then saves to the nvram and you get stuck clearing the bios so to speak, to restore order.

This is one reason why i refuse to try to bypass taito's restore game on powerloss function.

I do :drinks: i modify the coin door, coin chutes settings, volume, language, time etc. and if I delete the nvram, i need to redo the settings again. No need for me (mostly) to delete nvram. Only for some Spanish roms that act funky time to time

true, but why aliasing if I just use 1 rom for 1 table ?
I'm not a big fan of reskins etc.

And PinemHi doesn't send any any alliassed information to the server as well

He above mentioned running several tables that used the same rom, resulting in needing to kill of the nvram

aliasing prevents that issue, even if you are just trying out a different table version but decide not to keep it

I think PinEMhi works with aliases?
I recall it working with my sopranos table which was aliased?
