Evening everyone,

When attempting to open a .vpx table:

Atlantis (Gottlieb 1970)_Teisen_MOD 1.0

by double click or using the vpx exe i get a message saying that the game was saved in 10.72 and i'm using 10.11 and i might get problems. I did a fresh install using your set up guide.

I went to github, https://github.com/v...inball/releases, and downloaded vpx 10.72. Should i attempt to overwrite the older version?

After that message i get an instant shut down of vpx after this appears, fatal error: Unable to create vertex buffer! D3DERR_INVALIDCALL (0x8876086c:Invalid call) at RenderDevice.cpp:1304

I'm using a GEFORCE RTX 3060TI
Processor    12th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-12700   2.10 GHz
Installed RAM    16.0 GB (15.7 GB usable)
System type    64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

Edition    Windows 11 Home
Version    22H2
Installed on    ‎2023-‎06-‎24

Download version 10.7.3 here...

Note: Pick VPinballX73_Minimal.zip

Copy contents of zip file into Visual Pinball folder and overwrite when asked.

That did the trick. Thank you for the prompt help!

@xenonph

I'm having a great deal of difficulty finding out how I can change the brightness of the ambient lighting for the vpx tables and also the brightness of the playfield lights like you can do in future pinball. Where do i find the settings?

Edit, I think I found the solution. Thanks again!

Open table in editor, and look on right hand side for Night - Day Slider to adjust brightness. (As seen in pic.)
