File Name: JP's IT - Pinball Madness

File Submitter: jpsalas

File Submitted: 31 Oct 2022

File Category: VPX Originals

Author(s): josalas
Joe Picasso
Unsavory
Permission to MOD?: No

This table is an original table, with the layout inspired in the Oktoberfest table.

Authors:
jpsalas: VPX table, rules, music
Joe Picasso: graphics and concept and rules
Unsavory: Pennywise voices
Chucky: directb2s

This is my version of the table. With my physics, and made for desktop and cabinet use.
If you want to play in VR with nFozzy flippers, Fleep sounds and a few extras then download it from vpuniverse. Many people helped on that version adding a lot of visual extras for VR, including a video with instructions. That table will also play in desktop and in a cabinet.

Both tables have the same layout, graphics, rules, sounds and music. But they may play a little differently due to the physics being tweaked differently.

The rules are easy to understand, but take a look at the manual (or the video on the other release :) )

Thanks to all of you guys ... jpsalas, Joe Picasso, Unsavory and Chucky. I've downloaded both releases :)

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

An amazing table on VPX.. with an awesome theme, based on one of my favorite movies!

The visuals, lighting, art, models, toys, animations, sounds, music, voices, VR room... EVERYTHING on this table is top tier.

A real work of passion created by a great group of talented collaborators.

You are going to love IT!

9 out of 10 clowns recommend playing in the sewer. However I am the last clown, and I recommend this table over the drain.

This is an incredible collaboration, and now everyone can play it the way they want. Thank you everyone for going all out on this one!

Wow...a-ma-zing.

Very high quality of...well ..eveything: graphics, table lay-out (love that very long metal wire-ramp, IT behind the scoop :-) ) ,
rules, sounds and also during playing how the MB's come up (better wear your sunglasses :-) )

What would you think of the idea to make an adjustable setting in the begining of the script where you can adjust the difficulty, referring to the # of shots needed to save the kid?

Thanks for this great table!

Joe and I thought about making an Easy mode and a Hard mode, which you could select at the start of the game. At the end I removed that Easy setting and I made it easier to get the multiballs, but hard to rescue or run from the bullies. So it is a hard table, but I have seen several videos of people completing all the kids :) So it can't be so hard :)

This is simply amazing. :love39: And a great example of what wonderful things can happen when VPF and VPU people cooperate!  :P

I have one small request: Would you be willing share the "IT Pinball Madness" letter logo as a transparent PNG file? I don't use those wheel images with the round steel frame images on my cab and I'd love to have the letters on their own. Also I'm itching to make my own 4:3 backglass, so I'd like to use them on that one as well.

I'll certainly be playing this all week at any rate. You should all be very proud of yourselves

JP -  Thanks once again for this masterpiece.  I really enjoyed being part of the VR side production team on this one, and appreciate the opportunity.  I hope your son can lend you his headset and you can play this table on a Stubby cab some day soon.  Thanks again!

I do not have that image, since Joe made all the graphics. Just send him a PM, he is known as godidnothere in the forum.

Yes, I'll ask him for his VR set so I can see this VR-Room :)
