Hi all,

First post, I've been lurking quite a long while, only signed up last week and paid Gold. I'm an addict and used to own 3 real tables which I totally regret selling but life was in a bad place at the time. (Getaway, CFTBL, Star Wars Trilogy.)

Anyway my question...

I've played Theatre of Magic on both Android (the Williams Pinball app) and also VPX in VR, and on both versions I simply cannot fathom how to enter my initials when I get a high score. The flippers move left/right as normal but return/launch does nothing. I've tried nudging, inserting coins, magnasaves. Nothing.

Help an idiot out please!

I couldn't find anything in the manual on ipdb.org, and I've never gotten good enough to get a high score, but have you tried the start button instead of launch or magnasave?

Thanks all. I don't think I've tried the start button, I'll give that a shot when (if) I get there again! I don't know anything about an extra ball button?

Edit to add: The Android App wouldn't work with a start button so I guess that's a fail for that. Anyway on with the scoring....

They are kind of hard to see, but there are "buttons" underneath the initials window.  Just look for the checkmark, that is the leftmost button.  There are 4 in total, IIRC.

extra ball or buy-in button, this is usually key 2 on the keyboard.

Edit: but it is the start button.
