Been experiencing flippers sticking in two recent games Spider Classic VE and Godzilla Limited Edition.

At first I thought it was the B2SBackglassS being run in Exe mode, and I changed that to standard but it did not seem to fix the problem.

Next I tried it without running the backglass at all but it too didn't fix the problem.

I can rule out the computer/video card not being up to snuff. So any suggestions you guys may have to remedy this problem would be great.

Thanks again!

If it is the first time the rom has run, it is actually quite normal. Pinmame emulation isn't always happy if it doesn't find a nvram at startup.

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

Only those 2 or in any others?  If so, could be hardware.

As far as I know it's only those two which is odd. I have a Intel® Core™ i9-9900K CPU @ 3.60GHz   3.60 GHz, 32 GB ram and a GTX 1080. So computer specs should be ok.

It's reoccuring on multiple runs, even after the first run. Which is annoying since I enjoy those tables. Only other thing I can think of is that Windows 11 may be messing with it somehow.

I would recommend that you guys run the official pinmame and the offical 10.8 - is it still a problem ?

I know for a fact that I had issues with flippers on mm, but, it was resolved by reporting it and patched/fixed.

The thing though, is that the devs had to update both pinmame and VPX to fix that issue, so, it kind of means, that bug at least, was maybe introduced later than the official.

It also means, it might happen if you stick with 10.8 and update only pinmame.

There has been done quite a lot of changes since the "official" release of both these programs, especially pwm and some solenoid fixes. I would not be surprised if some eggs had got cracks in them if you run with a fairly new pinmame (and or) vpx at this point in time. It is amazing how much work the devs have put down after 10.8. Their goal is clearly to make VP multi-platform and plugin aware (more dynamic).

I was able to play these games using 10.7 with no issues. But then I guess I would have to give specific instructions to pinupplayer. Well, at least its a workaround for the time being, right?
