                               Gorgar - Williams 1979
                       v1.0 by drumndav AKA daveboy6

Back in the late 70's as soon as I got out of school, I would
head over the Main St. bridge towards the beach to check out
the surf. If the waves looked small but the tide was going to
change in a little while, I would hang out on the boardwalk, and
play 'Lost World'. So it was until in 1979 something  happend,
a pinball machine talked! The first time I encountered Gorgar,
I diddnt see it first, I heard it! When I finaly did see it, I knew
I had to play it. I remember there was a small group of people with
quarters on the machine already waiting. Every time Gorgar said
something everybody remarked about it because nobody had heard
anything like it before, it was the first of it's kind.

This is my second table, built using what I had learned creating
Lost World v2.0, looking at how others had done this table before,
and learning even more during my recreation of Williams 1979 Gorgar.
I tried to make Gorgar v1.0 as realistic as possible, but also
wanted it to run as fast as possible, hence I used old style lights.
Yeah I know the old lights dont look as good, but they run fast,
and thats what counts to me. This table runs smooth even on an old
Dell Pentium 4 1.8GHz, with a nVidia Geforce FX 5900, and a Sound
Blaster Audigy 2 card. So even you basic laptop users out there
should have no lag/slide show effects while playing it. Above all
else remember to just have fun, because thats what it's all about.
Oh, and speaking of fun, the 'Naked Chick' is back in this table!

I just discovered this great table. On my setup, the plunger works fine but is not visible.
