Saw some other pinball ideas, and thought about it: what if a machine had a trigger/special condition where it releases a smaller-sized ball into play, in a similar way to Twilight Zone's powerball (lighter and non-magnetic)

I'm thinking about exclusive shots designed for it, where a normal-sized ball would be rejected, diverters/mechanisms that move it to different places; for instance imagine a wireform ramp where the distance between rails allows a regular ball to flow normally, but our smaller ball falls through the gap and lands in its own tiny wireform!? (that sounds like a nightmare though :P)

There are, of course, lots of mechanical challenges - like limitations and well *durability*, but what are you guys' thoughts? could it work, and better: could it be fun?

*i also don't know: was it made already?*
