Permission to MOD?: Yes, without approval

It's my first attempt at recreating a table. I've been lucky to receive great help from TheWool and JimmyFingers, without them it wouldn't be the same table.

Many people did help, so the Credits part is pretty large :)

The Wool : all PF images, including lights & GI
JimmyFingers : BMPR, Flashers, physics, new multilevel sound routines, general help

Kiwi : testing (and replacing everything :) )
JP : sounds, slingshots method, ramp texture, new bumpers sounds , and probably much more
PacDude & JP : Fading Lamp
JF & Koadic : new controller loading system, constant improvements
destruk : Twister original script that was very helpful, B2B addition
Rob & NEW : Plastics pics
Noah : original playfield image, nudge system
oooPlayer1ooo : spinning disc with alpha ramp .image
hmueck, faralos : answers to my dumb questions
wtiger : tutorials that made me start a table

Thank you for the update xio. Your table makes a lot of fun.

Is it possible to change the two things?

Twister.jpg

1. Can you make a round ramp under the Truck.

2. The Ball stop is not correct. The rubber ball is not on the bolt.

Thx Bolt, glad you're having fun with the table.

1. I'm not sure, but I think the ramp is round but you probably decreased "alpha ramp accuracy" too much, that makes it look bad. Can anyone confirm ?

2. I don't see what you mean on your picture. I'll have a look tonight when I'm home and see if I can understand what you mean by rubber is not on the bolt

Here the original table.

Twister_org.jpg

I  see in your original picture that the ramp is round. For me, the ramp has unfortunately corners. Why?

Can you help me, plase?

regards

Go in Video Options, in the bottom right you have the 'alpha ramp accuracy' setting : slide it to the right and your ramp will be "rounder", but you may also alter performances.

Bolt, I'm sorry but I can't see what you mean with "rubber ball not on the bolt", so I don't know how to correct it. The post is a bit darker on the real picture but that's the only thing I notice... Can anybody help me understand ?

I think it means the post/rubber is not over the hole.
For me it is just a matter of different visual angle with the table and the image of Bolt.
The post/rubber is only one or two VPU lower than the hole.

According to this picture on the IPDB, there IS a rubber on that post that Bolt is referring to:

So, what he is saying is that if you look at the original table, the rubber is vertically centred on the peg, but the picture of your table looks like the rubber is to high up the peg. Maybe it is just angle like Kiwi mentions. Your choice to lower or not.

...not a big deal, but if you want to change it, you need to move those 6 or so ramps that make up the rubber image down. How much down is the question :)

OK I changed the ball stop a little (a bit darker, rubber moved down) in the new 1.02, I hope it's what Bolt wanted. Switch error is also corrected in the update.

I was unable to download 1.02.  Site error of some sort.  Anybody else able to grab it?

EDIT:  It works now
