The metal wire ramp sounds are great the way they are. I don't think they are too loud. I only hear absolutely no ball rolling...

Like most things VP, different system + different output devices = different results. eg I hear the wire (via plastic ramps) sounds quite loud, whereas Dark doesn't hear those ones at all?  (This is where I would love to see a volume slider for each sound in the Sound Manager, as it's impossible for table authors to cater for everyone)

Played quite a few games with v1.06 and all seems well so far.  even tried running it with latest VPX v2820 and Vpinmane SAM V2.41 and the new B2S server.

The only glitch I seen was when I locked the ball off the crane, I didn't see the lock1 light light.

That damn crane lock has always been problematic, if I recall gtxjoe fixed it back in the pm5 version.

I remember when this table looked like this back in vp8:

index.php?app=downloads&module=display&s

How far we've come.

It's come a long way indeed!

I just wish you could see the crane drops as clearly as you can there.

I like the bumper caps in that old version :)

Those are the correct caps.  You could just get rid of the primitive caps and use the built in VP caps with the same material and they would be pretty accurate.

It's awesome to see the ball riding the crane for the first time! Super improvement. The way the ball enters scoops now is quite a bit more realistic.

What is that cool mechanical noise during multiball? Is that new? I heard some discussion of a magnet underneath this playfield (?) Haven't experienced anything that felt like magnetic affect on ball.

Regarding ramp sounds: The left ramp sounds are about three times as loud as the right ramp sound (which I can barely hear). nice to hear some ball rolling sounds now.

Evidently  Herweh has released the B2S sources, so I guess it's open source now..

Djrobx has made some improvements. it's over at the other U site in a thread about code change.

There is so much amazing stuff going on in multiple threads across all the sites by very talented people coperating together, that it's hard to keep up, luckly I'm retired and have the time to folllow.

Thanks.

edit: Down for maintenance.. if anyone have the latest files, please do share. Thanks!

Just chill guys. :)

You do not miss anything for now. Its all heavily worked on behind the scenes, so the maximum thing you miss is being part of an alpha/WIP phase.

We will release everything properly as usual, as soon as its stable.

And i'll do a new VPM build this evening, too, as also some things happened there in the meantime.
