Great update, thanks wrd! Any plans to update Funhouse? Love your version and it still gets a lot of play here.

BBBB is a fun table that you have made even better. Thanks again!

Is there any way to change ROM settings? I'd like to turn off the Keep / Don't Keep mystery bonus after 3rd ball is drained. And 5 balls would be nice, at least until I get better at this table.

  • Fixed missing sound effects due to version crash that impacted previous release
  • Borrowed some sound effects from Fleeps TOM table
  • Upscaled playfield image by Sheltemke
  • Prim inserts by Schreibi

Thanks for the update.  This is a really beautiful table.

I am wondering if anyone else finds the ball to be moving very fast with the last two updates.  It seems to bounce and move like I expect but it does all of this at about 125 percent speed.  Maybe it is just me or my machine.  Is there a way for me to add weight to the ball or slow it down?

Thanks again for the table and the updates.

Thanks again for the table and the updates.

You can reduce table slope, or increase table friction in the table properties. I do own the real BBBB, and the current ball speed of the table is very consistent with my real one.

Take a look in these two areas to tweak it to your liking:

untitled41.png

You could add mass to the ball too, but then all of the physics of the entire table would likely need to be tweaked as well. Try the above settings first.

The retro-incandescent lighting on this table is very nice. Thanks to all of yall for the excellent work here.

So, there is no 3rd-screen DMD on this table (since scores should really stay inside Gift-Boxes, which are only on Backglass)?

I grew-up watching Bugs Bunny and his friends. Looks like only Marvin-the-Martian is missing from the original Bally table.

I will look later but i think i have a 3 screen backglass for this, if not ping conehead because he has a copy of it

I'm using @bassgeige version.

Other than no 3rd screen, it looks very nice (resolution is sharp at 1080p, colors are good, aspect radio looks good at 16:9 ).

I'm kinda thinking this might just be the norm for older tables that never had a DMD to begin with.

Most older tables have no lower display of any sort
Some may have a speaker in a riser under the backglass, others do not, speaker in in bottom and backglass sits on cab

Some though, did move the LED displays out of the backglass into the riser below it

Bugs Bunny does not in real life
image-1.jpg

But there is a backglass that lets you do it anyways

It isnt accurate of course, just some people like it.

Then I think I'll stick with what I have.

My Backglass looks just like that one (just a bit smaller).

My real-speakers and small (blank) DMD-Screen are below it.

Thanks for the clarifications.

I'm running this table on an cabinet.

Why is the top 1/5 of the playfield shaded?

Like the bottom 4/5's of my Playfield is clear-glass, but the top 1/5 is gray plexiglass ?

Anyone have any ideas on the upper playfield shaded-area?

I don't see it in these screenshots:

nor

I'm running VPX v10.7.2. I tried restoring a new copy of the file from archive and it didn't help.

Currently hard at work on F14. Wont be too long.

Another F-14 Tomcat release maybe? You have my attention.

I just got @ganjafarmer's v1.0 . Definitely more realistic-looking that Farsight's, but seems harder somehow (especially the 2 main shots). I might just need to spend more time with it.

I know this is old message, but had to ask since it's one of my top-5 favorite tables.

Hm... I got wrd1972's F-14 Tomcat (it's great of course), but somehow I cannot find it here or at VPU. Perhaps it was released on vpinball?

I really thought I uploaded F-14 here to. I had no reason to not have put it hear as well.

I will give a good once over and post it up ASAP. It was based on Ganjafarmers version, but with his permission, it was given a total overhaul.

That's great news; I've got the 1.0 version from VPinball (was registered there for a few days when the site was closed down) and not only does it play really well, it's also one of the best audiovisual experiences in VP.

Got to play the real thing last November and couldn't get anywhere with it BTW, this is one design where I do a lot better on the VPX version than the genuine machine (unlike Creature from the Black Lagoon).

As I'm getting back into VP, I searched and found a new pinball arcade has finally opened on the other side of town. They say it's a small Coffee-Shop and Pinball-Arcade combo. Still need to check it out.

Back into 90's there was a small Arcade chain here with a few locations. They had both F-14 Tomcat and StarTrek-TNG (so I was in heaven) ... good times.
