1.1.0 Updated 5 April 2013
- physics and object adjustments by rob046 to fit his real machine
- speeded up the alpha ramps used to make the bumpers and the top glass of the window
- replaced the alpha ramps used for the flipper decorations with primitives
- fixed graphic bug on the lights
- new ball :)

The table should be played with VP915 due to the increase in speed and better handling of the primitives. But I have saved the table with VP914 in case you still haven't updated to VP915.

opps, my bad. I did have some trouble uploading the table, since it kept telling me that I have forgotten something. and at the fourth attempt I realized that there was no link to the IMDB :) But then I have uploaded the image instead of the zip file :) It is now fixed :)

How/where can I get the latest "sys80.vbs" file? 3.37 or higher??!!

I recently updated this table on my desktop VP9 setup. When it starts up I get the following error message:

"sys80.vbs version 3.37 or higher required"

I click OK and then the table seems to play just fine.

I'd like to get rid of this opening message. Update my sys80.vbs file? OK, fine. How to do that?

I can't find that file by itself here. If I download the complete VBS 3.42 zip file from the installation section, I get the same file I already had. Dated June 15, 2012.

How/where can I get the latest "sys80.vbs" file? 3.37 or higher??!!

Wade,

I had the same issue today. I downloaded the VBScripts in the Getting Started section and overwrote what I had and it worked. Oddly the .vbs files I had and the newly downloaded file were the same dates also.

The "BallSize" feature created in the 3.37 VBS scripts is now used on this table.  So any VBS older than that will cause an error.  People should always update to the latest VBS anyways, so were just helping you out here!  But this table definitely needed a ball size boost from previous versions.  In fact, I think its still a few units too small but at least its a little better.

robo046, That's fine and all but we can't figure out how to upgrade the SYS80.vbs file to version 3.37 or higher. Where to go to get this file?

The one here on vpforums.org is out of date. As already suggested, I don't know where else to go but to "Getting Started" section. Is there some secret forum or area where the very latest scripts are located?

I'm more than happy to update this file but there doesn't seem to be ANY direction as to how to get it updated? So I repeat....Where is the latest SYS80.vbs file????

If anyone is reading this post and is still as confused as I was about the strange SYS80.vbs error, well... I figured it out with the help of uberpinball on another thread.

The real file that needs to be updated from the "Getting Started" pack is "CORE.VBS". Once I updated the core.vbs file, I no longer got the "sys80.vbs version 3.37 or higher required" error window. Apparently, the SYS80.vbs calls for this file in the error log or something and then returns an error but with the wrong file name. I don't know...something like that.

Long story short...just update the CORE.VBS file along with SYS80.vbs (if needed) and this error with the Haunted House table (and possibly other tables) will go away. :dblthumb:

First - this is a great table!

I've played it quite a bit however I had a problem twice today. I did not lose a ball going down to the lower playfield. The ball disappeared when exiting the lower playfield. Twice when it went down the lower left drain hole it never re-appeared. The sound kept playing in a loop & the "backglass" said "Ball in Play". But the ball never showed up again. I had to exit & re-start the table.

Has anyone else every had this problem?

Is there a way to map the flippers to 4 buttons like the original machine?
