First crash with the new dll. Crash during playing. VPX stopped and crashed back to the desktop. The table was the new table from rascal,  Mario Andretti, https://www.vpforums...826#entry423679

rev3644 is up:

 

- fix potential null pointer (reported by JPsalas)
- do not ignore primitive setting 'Has Hit Event' anymore (before it was always implicitly on)
- fix hit event issues for walls 
- undo handling updated
- bass.dll updated (be sure to use the new one or you get random crashes)

Sweet ! I know you must have scratched your head a bit the last weeks and I'm sure you're on the right track again. I was not able to crash the previous version once I updated bass.dll - but, well, many tables didn't play very well without wall hits getting registered :) Thank you guys ! Many of us got kind of 4 releases in one go all of a sudden now ;-)


From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

Starting with version VPX_5 3376 up to current release VPX_6 3639. The edges of the "shadow" ramps are reflecting light, creating a thin white line cutting through the backdrop image. Many tables like "Faeton" have this shadow rail next to the table side rails. I'm only seeing it on the right side (probably due to the angle of the environment lighting.
Ok, I'l try from a computer the more post option is not bringing up the options to upload my pics. Sorry I'll try later.

Hey friends, is it possible to implement a way into the creator that lets us add a wall behind and a floor under the tables? Maybe we need just 3 more options for common walls: z-scale, height and offset. But I am not sure.

That new VR possibility ist nothing but fantastic. To play in a black room kills the immersion a bit and gives that ugly godrays.

I hope a newer version will let the user add a room for the Table to sit in to play in VR, Shouldn't be too hard, fun times

 

A complete was too demaning in FP. So a textured wall and a textured floor would be perfectly for me.If there is a better solution that doesnt need to many ressources, I dont say no though.

For me rev3644 always crashes on exit if I'm using exclusive full screen, about that, maybe not working properly cause I can see the option menus when activated, and gsync only works if I select the option on the nvidia panel to enable gsync at full screen and window screen, if I choose only full screen, it doesn't work with VPX exclusive full screen rev3644, but it works with 1.5. Other random crashes while playing or using the editor too.

@draifet : you are aware that this is the second release of 3644 - or was it the one before that ? Hmm. I believe it is this one. It was the first time around packed with the old bass.dll so it became unstable because of it. Now, with the corrected dll included, I it much more stable here.
