Finally found the problem :dblthumb:

It works when Vpinball "Quality SMAA" isn't set in Video preferences!

So I put "Quality FXAA" instead and it works!

About this beta : the result seems to be nice and better than before so far! :otvclap:

The last TOTAN version is set to SMAA by defaut.

You would have to open the table and change AA setting to Quality FXAA in the table option.

I don't know but it's probably the same for T2 ;)

What I always forgot to report: If you import a pov, VPX doesn't register this as a file change (asterix in window top filename).

Not a big thing, though...

Is there a known issue with grouping lamps?

Trouble I'm having if you assign a group, then save it, reload the table and the group is not set.

-----------------------------------------------------------

On closer inspection it looks like many duplicates have been added. Look at GI37, GI43.

https://www.dropbox....groups.jpg?dl=0

Hopefully it will work when I've cleared those dupes out. Still have the trouble of it being added to the collection list, but not working when grouped. (It is fine until you reload it)

----------------------------------

Somewhere along the line the GI37, GI43 have been duplicated in the actual object layer lists.

https://www.dropbox....roups2.jpg?dl=0

The worst thing about this is selecting the 1st GI37 is a "collection" the 2nd is the Light.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To fix in editor delete one of the duplicates, save and restart, don't try and delete both.

I tried helping someone with Twilight Zone question, but when I loaded Skitsos mod, I also get the InitPin3D Error. (His TOTAN mod also gives me the error.)

So maybe its just certain tables that give this error.

Not sure if this helps, but thought I should mention it.

I was thinking of going through every table I have, to see which ones give the errors, but figured it would be easier if others just reported it, when they come across error.

Alot of tables don't give me this error, including Skateball, GIJOE, Medusa, Star Wars Redux, Amazon Hunt.

Hope this helps.

@xenonph : The problem you are talking about is. People who has set SMAA as their default AA under video preferences => all tables will fail. Skitso and a few others have found that their table mod looked better if they set the video option to use SMAA in the table itself. Load the table, change it to default and the problem is gone. Reason, there is a error for everyone that uses SMAA in any way with the latest beta. This is why we have betas in the first place. So, there is no reason to go through tables, its a known and fixed issue. Will be gone in the next beta.

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

Here it is a crash report. It has happened several times after playing a table. This is just playing with VPX, no B2S or pinballx. Just one screen.

In VP10 under video preference when you click reset to Defaults it turns on Force exclusive fullscreen

-

My question is

When you use the all-in-one installer is this already turned on?

If so maybe it shouldn't be include with Defaults

Add to the Balloon that pops up ( Ddraw must be turn off when using )

I made it the default, if one has win10 build 1803 or above. From my experience, from there on everything just works (at least on NVIDIA). Or is this not true and i'm just lucky with my setup?

@JP, Thalamus, lukpcn: How did you roughly trigger the crash?

@toxie : I was having fun applying different values to some elements in 32a Pharao. General gameplay I would say. Right after a missed shot not hitting anything special the table just froze. I haven't played much with 3608 yet, but, I plan to continue that modification so I will be able to see if it happens again and if it is related to the table itself. I see JP added a comment that he ran without db2s. I don't remember - I might have had db2s enabled but no db2s avail when I started that round if that is important info.

@toxie: that error happened after playing a table, ESC Q, then the VPX editor closed automatically. No error was displayed on the screen.
