I've been working on a Linux frontend inspired somewhat from PinballX, but I wanted one for Linux. So with some vibe coding help from Claude, I created PinballUX, which works well for me so far. Your mileage may vary. My config is latest Ubuntu desktop running on an I7 with a GTX 1660 and a 3 screen setup. If anyone tries it, please let me know what you think. It comes with a few scripts to unpack MEDIA PACKS and scan a table directory to create a database for the media files. My plan is to use this in a cabinet build, so that I don't have to buy windows to run it on. Thanks.

I've continued to work on this. Now has full GUI setup and table manager. Installs with a package install. No need for console work.

Very, very excited to find this. I am building a cabinet so I will definitely be trying to get this working on my cabinet.

Lots of progress on the project on github, awesome.

Glad to hear! Thanks for spreading the word. It's been a fun project, and best of all I've got my cabinet up and running -- just needs some paint and glass now. Game on!
