Good evening and happy holidays and happy new year to all!

First of all, I should have learned my lesson and backed up my files before disaster hit. My New Years Resolution... :)

I'm confused and really could use some help with someone who is familiar with changing the color text of DMDs. So I reinstalled Nailbuster's Baller Installer PinUp Popper
I used to be able to right click on the DMD, and get the 4 option menu to customize using Freezy DMD EXT . I used to be able to change the color of the DMD, set the brightness etc, Now when I try to customize it, it doesn't change the DMD at all. I have the most recent DMD Devicedevice ini and DLL.. it's like it's not recognizing my customizations and doesn't reflect on the DMD anymore. Any suggestions?

I really remember being able to change the brightness using DMDEXT on the original table "Leprechaun King". I know it uses FlexDMD or UltraDMD, but again I really really remember still rightclicking on it and being able to edit the DMD with Freezy. Am I wrong? Can Freezy work with Flex to edit?
Is DMD EXT not available anymore?

Thank you

4 colors is VPINMAME, not Freezy's DMD Extensions
You have to set the 4 colors within vpinmame settings

as for flexDMD displays
you just right click the DMD and pick customize

No idea though what version of baller installer you used
or if it had up to date flexDMD and Freezy's

If you feel the need to empty your wallet in my direction, i don't have any way to receive it anyways

Right so the four color option is for hitting F1 which doesn't work on original tables, right?

This is the one that I'm using. I right clicked on the DMD, I get the menu with the four choices. The bottom one is customized which I click. When I edit like the color it does not change the DMD at all. I have selected load and apply to the table. Not working :-(

I have installed the most recent baller installer and files.

Curious why it doesn't change the actual DMD.

Thank you.

Leprachaun uses Ultra DMD. You can not make any changes.

Thank you tiki. Wasn't there a way though to adjust the brightness with the DMD EXT menu? I really thought I used that by using the sliders to adjust things like brightness. I know I was able to do brightness with it.

Yes you can.

1st, make sure you have FlexDMD registered as UltraDMD

then run table, right click DMD, go to customize.

You could change the DMD color, but you'd have to do that in the table script

This is why I'm having the trouble. I registered flex DMD. I'm using DMDEXT 1.10.2 x86. I go to the DMD I right click and go to customize, but when I move the sliders to adjust the brightness, it doesn't affect the DMD at all.

This is why I'm wondering what I can do to fix it.

Any help would really be appreciated.

You have to click the button to apply settings to the running table

You should probably also create a custom profile rather than editing the default one.

If I use sliders on pure ultra-DMD and apply settings, nothing happens. so for me this behavior is right normal. That has never worked for me.

I did. I clicked apply to this table, I clicked load, It doesn't register on the table DMD.

The buttons turn a light bluish color when my mouse hovers over it, for when I click it, nothing happens.

Try this - Change the settings and On the left save To the DmdDevice.ini File using the Rom name, Close VP and restart the game

Not exactly sure what you are doing?

It works perfectly here, can even apply DMD frames and a glass overlay.

going to have to show some screenshots or video of what you are doing
or something is amiss in your setup?
