Thank you!

Very nice looking table, plays great too.

Didn't see the VPMColoredDMD in desktop mode so added textbox on the backglass and then textbox.visible = true to the If DesktopMode = True Then section

Dear fredobiwan,

thank you for your work, the table looks nice ... but I have seen two flaws

- I cannot inset coins (all others Gottlieb DMD tables I have work well)
- the DMD shows at bottom parts of the playfield segment displays, see screenshot.

Attached File  Mario Andretti (Gottlieb 1995).jpg   99.48KB   16 downloads

all hints are welcome.

sincerely, Christian.

This table and I believe Shaqs table will do this.  This is not due to the tables release, from what I remember its the rom itself.  If you wish to remove those numbers from the dmd screen, you need to use freezys dmd.  Otherwise, you are stuck with them.  I also have no problems with coins.  Not sure where that problem is coming from.

Same problem here using Visual Pinball 10.7.0 and VPinMAME 3.5 beta (it was the same with 3.4)

Dear roccodimarco,

I checked with Sharq and yes I can insert coins and the game plays excellent. But the DMD shows the same flaw line Mario Andretti, see screenshot below.

One other aspect: I manipulated a nv-file from Barb Wire and used for Mario Andretti, that works. The table plays excellent. But of course I am interested to solve the described flaws.

VPM shows ALL parts run by the display controller
Including LED segments that would be in the playfield itself and not on the backglass

disable VPM display and enable external DLL

Hi wiesshund,

you wrote "disable VPM display and enable external DLL", two questions:

- where is the VPM to be disabled?

- I set the tick box in the menu under F1, but now the table crashed with "no external DLL found" - which file is where to be located?

and where can I reverse my decision to tick this option?

Thank you in advance for your reply.

Thank you, clyde, another step forward, but: which file is where to be located to let the external DLL option work??

I spend some time to look for more information and found that :

the external DLL is freezys dmd extensions

https://github.com/f...v1.10.2-x86.zip

you just unzip that into the vpinmame folder

First of all thank you very much for this nice table.
I experience a ball-stuck condition when the ball is launched very slow by the launch plunger.

Please see the attached picture.

It happens when the ball arrives just above that position shown in the picture and return back down in the plunger direction.
If you nudge from the table right side, the ball rolls a little and remains stuck against the wire ramp on its left.

Have a great day.

Massimo

FYI.  For anyone who does not want to run freezy (For whatever reason) https://www.vpforums...&showfile=13433  in this table is a backglass that will make the dmd make more sense.  I made this before I had freezy.

Hi fredobiwan,

I finally took the time to fix the ball stuck related to my previous post.

It was a problem with physics of object Wall009.
Look the two image attached at this message, they shows the Wall009's properties to adjust to get the issue fixed.

Have a great day, and thank you again for your time spent on this nice table.

Hoops!

Found new ball stuck on the ramp just above the eject hole.

See the image attached.
As per the second image, I fixed the issue just burying the eject hole's deflector by 10 units down in the table plane.

Please take care that I'm no way an expert in VPX modelling, for that it could be that there is a better way do deal with this issue.

This just fixed it for my cabinet.

Enjoy your pinball.

Have great days.

Massimo
