I have searched the forums and am seeing more and more VPX tables being releases as PinGod versions... but Its just not clear what PinGod is or why it should be used, or if a tables release with PinGod support can run without it... etc...

I'm very happy with the VPX versions of tables (both graphics and physics - thanks to all involved in making them so great!!) can a PinGod version be any better?

Thanks chepas,

That makes sense now... some VP games are scripted entirely in VPX, others use a rom from a real pinball machine, and other use PinGod for similar logic.
