I can load and play any table fine. When I exit the table, all screens go black and computer freezes. Sometimes computer will reboot on its own, and other times I have to force power down.
I have tried others suggestions of adding sub exit script. No remedy yet.

Sounds like video driver is crashing while returning to 2D desktop mode

If you feel the need to empty your wallet in my direction, i don't have any way to receive it anyways

might try reinstalling VPX.

hopefully it isnt a hardware issue

Does it crash if you run VPX with exclusive fullscreen disabled?

Thanks for the suggestion wiesshund. I'll disable exclusive full-screen when I get home and try it. It has been enabled for quite a while with no issues, but worth a shot. All other video applications work fine, FX3 works fine, and exits in popper fine.
If that doesn't work I'll try a new install.

Disabling exclusive full screen seems to have done the trick! Thanks to wiesshund for the suggestion!!
I'm curious why that would suddenly cause such a problem??

That confirms the video is crashing
I am not sure if the event log might have some useful info on the crash

You have any other full screen 3d apps on there you can test against?

but will that kill the entire PC?

like make the whole thing shut off?

that would be cool if it was a fix for that cause someone else was having same issue

Normally I don't use the "exclusive full screen", but I remember that with the ddraw not deactivated, nothing can go wrong, or freeze or crash the VP.

It has nothing to do with this, I don't use the VP physmod5 because the second loading of the table makes the system reboot, Win XP and ATI card.
