File Name: Loch Ness Monster (Game Plan 1985)

File Submitter: goldchicco

File Submitted: 09 Feb 2021

File Category: VPX/VPinMAME Recreations

Author(s): Goldchicco
Roccodimarco
Manufacturer: Other - Pinball
Year: 1985
Permission to MOD?: Yes, without approval

I fully coded the table converting the vp9 table by Roccodimarco , DOF calls should be OK (this table got no ROM).

Sources are really low for me and this table was never released to the public, only a prototype is available.

Thanks @Movieguru for upscaling the existing images.

I am try to publish the table, so maybe it will catch more attention.

I am posting it here to see if someone would jump onboard or rebuild it or having access to sources can provide better playfield and plastics images.

This table is playable, but looking for better days, physics can be of course adjusted ( I did not spent much time on it).

If you decide to play with it, it's all on you and so please don’t post questions about this or that is not working.

NO SUPPORT WILL BE OFFER FOR THIS TABLE

This table is posted to try to make a good one in VPX and can be used as blueprint.

All Logos, Copyrights and Trademarks are property of their respective owners.

PROVIDED STRICTLY FOR PERSONAL / HOME USE AND NOT FOR COMMERCIAL SALE / RE-SALE OR DISTRIBUTION!

Permission to Mod: Yes without approval

Nice! There was someone out there working on this table at the same time as me.  I forget who it was (forgive me) but they were doing a very nice job.  Like Gold said, resources are REALLY REALLY low on this one. I searched high and low for anything on this table.  It's a cool table, and look forward to more work done on it.  I will try and figure out who was working on it, maybe they can help out.  (Gold check you pms I sent you a message)

Here are my two wheels for this table.
As always you find them in my MEGA-account or directly in Popper.
Don't download the pictures from here. Better quality you find in MEGA or Popper.

thank you for trying, but can he at least record a clip of some game play to see exasctly how the lights, music are working??

or if its possible to have the manual scanned in pdf, only the pages with the switches, lights numbers and solenoids, will be great

I can not do a thing for the gameplay as i have no clue about the modes and rules

I worked on the physics, i think i have them pretty decent, well for knowing nothing about this table anyways

working through SSF and DOF
And i have the backglass functioning, for player 1 at least, kind of need someone with the skills to hand recreate the backglass art though
that is way outside my skill set.

Should not be too hard to add players 2 through 4 to it.

You want me to zip of what i have and trade it back to you to work on play modes, and see if you can get someone to take interest in the art?

Oh, and if someone could make a 3d model of nessie we could make shake under the glass, that would be cool
I think that is what it did? if i read correctly?

If anyone wants to play with it, work more on it

If you feel the need to empty your wallet in my direction, i don't have any way to receive it anyways

Spend it on Hookers and Blow

I can fix that

I added in some basic DOF, and finished the SSF

Backglass is wired for 4 player, just needs the players added in the script

Also standardized the coin up and game start keys so it wont matter what keys or buttons you have mapped for it in VPX

I hope someone can get some info for you on the rules and game play modes
I can't contribute any art cause i suck at scratch building anything that detailed

VPX 6.1 build
