How are you?

I'm new here, and i have some doubts i need to solve to have it perfect!

One of them is: I have as Front End PinballY (i like it more than pinball X). PinballY has a menu where you can download automatically the media packs and move it to the tables, but first you need to configure that tables. The problem is: To configure the tables, pinballY search in the IPDB, but pinball FX3 are not in the IPDB, because the are not "real" tables. So: i would like to configure all this tables, there is any option in pinballY to do it? perhaps another database?

Thank you all!

I had read the manual before write, but just i case I did read it again (not all, only the configure systems and de media sections), and i still don't have the answer to my question.  :(

The thing is: my problem is not to setup the game, the problem is i'm not able not download the media automatically, because when i go to "game setup" and "configure table" in pinballY, it doesn't let me configure it because the pinball fx3 tables are not in the IPDB. But finally my solution pass by download the media pack with the game manager in pinballX, and share the configuration with pinballX.

But thank you anyways to try to help!

Don't worry about whether or not the database search turns up your FX3 title. Just go ahead and enter the table name and fill out the rest of the form. I think the only things that are required are the name, release year, system (FX3), and what kind of table it is. I don't remember what that last one is labeled, but you'll just select solid state for all your FX3 tables.

One feature I'd love to have is the ability to customize that drop down. I wish there was a "virtual" option along with Electro Mechanical, Solid State, etc.

But what do you mean? Are you usins 2 different joypads? In my case, I'm using the pinscape controller. If the pad works in Windows, must work with pinballY, I thing. You don't need xboxce, but only setup the buttons (by select and pressing) at pinballY options.

Or perhaps you want it to works in VPX or PinballFX, as long as pinballY it's "only" a frontend...
