At first this was the next table for the whitewood series. But then Peter from specialwhenlit.co.uk ansered not only in detail to my questions. He also provided new images and gameplay videos, that made a recreation possible.

The ROM analysis was hard, because some light numbers are double-used in several locations and so the gameplay video was a real helper to clarify my doubts.

The game is up and running, the playfield redraw is done and I am working on some details, the DT backdrop and the B2S.

Here is an the current state.

Very nice looking table, and the gaming seems to be very interesting

And we were missing barbarian's tables

The rules are quite complex but the shots are hard to achieve - at least for me. And the table is a drain monster, especially with the moving target.

Skillshot: try to pass the shooterlane trigger just as the inserts are lit. Scoring 50k will open the outlane gate too.

Hit the movig center target 3 times (SIGFRID letters) to activate the top right target for 25k and double playfield value. Do it again for triple value and Special.

Hit the top hidden target (with the little ramp, next to the top right target) 6 (!) times to light both shields and then complete the 3 top left rollovers to score the lit value, repeat.

Complete the DT bank to open the outlane gate and score the lit value in front of the DTs.

Hit all 4 left targets (with head inserts) to activate the lit ramp value (yellow light next to green one). Shoot ramp to collect lit value and advance one ladder step until Special.

If You search for "Dark Shadow Pinball" on Youtube, You will find Peter's gameplay videos.

This is great news. I had a feeling we would end up with whitewood for those games, and I'm very happy to hear that I was wrong. Thank you Peter and of course Michael for once again digging deep and giving even another "forgotten" table a new life in the virtual world. Looking forward to play it.

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

The table is done and all the details are in. Now I will add a DT backdrop and start the backglass image.

Joey has a huge collection of great wheels and is adding to it with new games. Might be worth to check out his mega account. Most of them are distorted because they are rounded, but, there is also great looking wheels there too. ;)

Sorry, but where do you see distorted wheels?
I hate distorted wheels.

You know my wheels.
I know, that a new backglass is in the works in very good quality. I'm waiting for this, so that I don't have to do the work twice. Is quite complex with the current backglass, because I always try to remove the reels and other things. So I hope, it doesn't take long.

Eh. Sorry. it wasn't a fair post. I just hate those round ones - and I don't even really check yours for distortion, only seen many (most ?)  that are and I had a feeling that you can't really cram all the logo into the round confined space, still making them looking great. Yes, I still won't even check if they are. Round is boring. Sorry, but, that is what I honestly feel.

I agree with you Thalamus. I don't like the round ones too. I just want nice plain text that can also be played on my real DMD
I used the Mega link from Joey as well and added that linkt to Scutters and my program "PinballX Database manager", so it is easy to match and download them in 1 tool
But I used most of the time Stefan his wheels (and I appreciate everybody hard work in the community. Don't get me wrong)

Guys, that's OK. I don't like the normal Logos only with text. They look ugly in the frontend.
So everyone prefer something and it's good. How boring, if everybody like the same thing.
