I've been struggling getting my PinDMDv3 up and running

 

When I boot I see the logo for a few seconds, but it always flashes, very bright white, then becomes blank.

 

It still shows in Device Manager, but following the setup steps I never get anything to show.

 

The log:

Whenever I try to run DMDext test I get stopped at 

Checking port COM3 for PinDMDv3...

 

Again, nothing shows on the screen after the label flashes off when powered on.

 

Can anyone assist me in getting this setup?

 

P.S. from what I have seen of the label, it is going to be so awesome and bright!
