File Name: Alien Trilogy (TBA 2019)

Who wouldn't know Alien, the fast-paced monster, the boldest human fantasy born? If you like sci-fi horrors, then if you don't like it, then it's worth watching the movies! Real classics.
The first part of 1979 is still a true visual miracle to this day. In 1996, Alien Trilogy appeared on a PC, and then on the popular consoles, the three-part trilogy, which went on the path of the FPS genre.
Although not one of the most successful works in history, the game itself, but its brilliant music, and the great horror atmosphere, prompted me to make a pinball tribute version of it.
Yes, yes, Alien, first in Visual Pinball!:)

An important thing:
I have integrated two background music into the game. Anyone who prefers the music of the original 1996 game doesn't have to do it, because this is the default.
If you prefer movie OST music, do the following: enter the script and jump to line 88. Change the following line to this: "Alien Trilogy music" to ---> "Alien Trilogy ost"

Video of the gameplay (with Movie ost):
https://youtu.be/DPjsx2oOi90

Video of the gameplay (with Game music):
https://youtu.be/GPRB8Ytk7VE

So, a complete multimedia package is included with the compressed file. Among others, the backglass (directb2s) file. PinballX desktop and cabinet files (audio, pictures, flyers, instruction cards, wheel, etc.)

Original (my resource) table: Berzerk 2.0
Author(s): Lodger
Thank you to Lodger for allowing the original table to be costumized. And the very useful tips!

Looks fantastic. Can't wait to play it. Will be perfect for my cabinet since it will be Alien vs Predator based.

Thanks for the table. I saw a video on you tube of your Hot Shots table. Do you have a decent playfield image? I am working on a redraw but all the images I have are very blurry.

Hello Crutch! Ahhh, I'm envious of your Aliens vs Predator cabinet! :) Congrat! Good shooting :)

Hello Shannon1! Thanks for the feedback! Unfortunately, the Hot Shots playfield is pretty blurry for me too, though it has full hd resolution. I don't know if you would benefit :) But you can write a private message, I can send the playfield picture.

great table. Thanks for doing it.

How do I get rid of the original DMD or whatever that is? It is displaying a sorcerer screen where my DMD is. Any ideas?

Thanks! Alternatively, try right-clicking on the backglass file and set DMD and B2S DMD to "visible" in the "Visibility" section.
It is interesting that the Sorcerer appears on the DMD. The table does not use a rom file. Sorcerer is being used by the new Aliens board that has been released these days. (Available on Vpinball).

Thanks for the great Alien Trilogy pinball implementation
The table plays great and is fun.
I love the Alien Trilogy films and now your pinball version
inspected me to make some small changes
I also changed the B2s a bit for my pinball fun

Here is the result:

I love real pinball AND VP-Pinball

Thanks! The backglass became very nice, I really like it! If you shared the backglass file (as a separate file in the backglass category), many people would be happy for it.

How do I get rid of the original DMD or whatever that is? It is displaying a sorcerer screen where my DMD is. Any ideas?

This is VERY odd: I've just installed the table from scratch and when I ran it, I got an error from VPMAME saying it needed the Sorcerer ROM sets, which I then copied into the usual ROM location and the table loaded and played fine. Maybe it doesn't USE the ROMs but merely needs them to be present? Or is there some no-longer-used code still present?

Also, is there any way to increase the number of balls from 3 to 5?

Many thanks,

CP

This is very strange, as there is no rom connection in the script... The new Aliens table uses the Sorcerer rom file. You can increase the number of balls in line 25!
balls = 2 'adjust to change # of balls (if you change to 4 you will have 5 balls)

Yes, it really is bizarre and beyond me! :hmm: Anyway, it's a great table to play and the ROMs aren't diffcult to find. Thanks for a great table and for the number of balls tip - line 25 suitably amended! :dblthumb:
