Hi everybody,

after having installed Visual Pinball 10.5 and having succesfully played some vpx tables for a couple of days, this strange thing now happens:

The next day I started my PC and without changing anything to the PC nor to VPX in the meantime the physics suddenly go crazy.

I can launch a ball and play for some seconds till suddeny the ball is dragged to the back of the table like as if a strong magnet has been turned on.

Reinstalling the tables does not chance anything.

How come that one day everything works great but then something strange happens.

Any ideas?

My system:

Intel i3, 16GB RAM, GTX 760, 500GB SSD, 3 Displays (42", 27", 19").

VPX runs with this setting like a well oiled machine.

Thanks for any advice  :)

Nudge controller and setting in VPX need to be adjusted

Or you have a USB joystick connected to your PC that is constantly trigger VP nudging. Unplug it

As i see you're from Germany, do you play only on the Computer or on a cab, using a PinControl1 from VP Shop?

I use a PinControl1 and had  the same Problems. The accelerometer (Beschleunigungssensor) has gone wild.

You can use DIView from the CD to find out.

I fixed it by taking away the 12 Volt DC but that's not the final solution.

I've send a mail to VP Shop but no answer so far.

Hi everybody,

thanks Hobbyist and Pinball Wizard for your replies.

But no, I'm not unsing the PinControl1 (yet) or any other board. In fact the only real input device right now is my keyboard.

My whole build is a test setup and till now there are just the displays, a keyboard and a mouse connected to my computer.

Also I don't understand why some tables show mechanica problems like bad switches in the test report menu.

It is just like the pin has some bad grounding a faulty solderings. But hey, we talking virtual pinball here :D.

And also the IJ table from NZ&TT or the TZ sometimes show a strange behaviour.

The path playfield in the upper left corner of the IJ turns around 360° instead of just some degrees.

And often enough the TZ let's me get into a game but won't through a ball in the lane.

All this is confusing and even somtimes annoying  :bye2:

So your help is greatly appreciated!

Kind regards!

Sounds very weird. Never had problems like this.

The weird ball behavior is maybe a nugde controller fault like gtxjoe wrote but the IJ problem not.

The only suggestion i have is: start from Zero and use the VPX installer.
