I did a redraw of the playfield based on images, Noah had in store on his Photobucket site (thank You Noah for the images - again) and the ones, akiles50000 sent to me. Again I used the light images provided by fuzzel and Kodiac's flipper routine. Thank You for this.

Have fun and please use the support topic to post any findings and suggestions.

Thanks Michael :)

DOF is not done yet, but you need to update your ini file from configtool if you have force feedback, or it will launch config of time machine data east, which is firing flashers and contactors not properly

Great job the center platform works great! I love the Zaccaria tables but they are starting to give me an inferiority complex "I'm sorry,  you are an amateur rider", "You are average" :(

Just wondering what is up with the strobe look on the blue flippers?  I notice even your screen capture is showing it, is that normal?

"Strobe look"?

Sorry, best way I could think to describe it. look at the blue area below the blue flippers. see how on the left it followed the flipper up?

That's not "strobe look" :)

It is actually an existing plastic shield attached to the upper flipper, preventing ball drain between the flippers on the same side. So you can cradle the ball on the lower flipper without losing it through the gap, unlike on other double-flipper tables.

Okay so once again I feel stupid.  In my defense I had never seen that before and it did look like the flipper animation was staying on screen as I have seen before.

I can't build, looks like I can't play test either, Lol. I'm just going over here in the corner and be quiet. :shutup1:

Hi,

thank You, htamas, for explaining the upper flippers. To prevent further uncertainties: the double registering target hits (upper targets 1-7) are the ROM default. One should be able to configure it (test 35 set to 0) but I have not figured out the right keys/switches to achieve this yet.

Regards

Michael

I had this machine and it didn't have those drain protectors -- not to say the original didn't have them I guess.

Anyways -- is it TOO easy?? I got bored after exceeding the high score on the first ball. I wonder if the exit lanes on the left and right are perhaps too small or something. It seems I would never lose out the sides and it would just simply fall down towards the flippers each time. (PS I am no pinball playing expert)

Hi allknowing2012,

You are right, the outlanes are too easy. I just checked some of the playfield images, I have. Unfortunately I had no playfield scan to start with, so this detail was put a bit too much onto the easy side.

An update will follow, thank You for finding this.

Regards

Michael

There are some nice shots here .. http://www dot pinballrebel dot com/pinball/time_machine_pinball/time_machine_pinball.htm .. but I wonder if perhaps its gravity not pulling the ball straight down and it just goes towards the flippers. Perhaps adding more incline might help..

Hi allknowing2012,

I did know the images there before, thank You. As they are of medium resolution and taken with the playfield fully populated, they are of limited use, unfortunately. I am quite happy with the ball behaviour and Your finding adds to the experience. You can always tweak the table to Your liking, if You are totally unhappy with its general settings.

Regards

Michael
