File Name: Viper Night Drivin' (Sega 1998)_Bigus(MOD)

File Submitter: bigus1

File Submitted: 24 Jan 2026

File Category: VPX/VPinMAME - MOD Tables

Author(s): Bigus1, Goldchicco, 32assassin, Andrei Miraklov, Ruqlem, Destruk
Manufacturer: Sega
Year: 1998
Permission to MOD?: Unspecified

This unusual table from Goldchicco plays fast.
I've done a makeover and fixed lighting for 10.8
Night mode has glowing balls that are not optional.
1.1 has balls jumping the diverter fixed and better flow on the ramps.
Enjoy :)

Is there an easy way to get a shiny ball?  Setting F12 Day Night to 100 does not help.

Thanks

Glowballs are this table's reason to be. Changing them would be akin to replacing Godzilla with a troll baby on that table.  That's why I specified that they are not optional.  Watch the DMD in attract mode to get a sense of their importance :)

This looks great thanks but for some reason it's giving me a Rom error when trying to load & just loads The Backglass even though the rom tests correctly in Pinmame & all my other Sega tables work ok

Not sure but the diverter wasn't right and I've posted an update that should appear shortly, so hopefully it will work for you :)

Can confirm working for me now thanks ,for some reason have to put it on external DMD else it won't load the Rom , this is a great fast table & the lighting on Multiball is fantastic with the glowball, Thanks very much Bigus
