Sorry to be the one to have a problem ... the table looks really great!

It's such a tease ... I can start the table, but then it cuts out ...

My laptop may not be up to date with all the latest vbs scripts. When attempting to launchTriZone, I do get the "s6.vbs ver 3.37 or higher required" message. The table does launch afterward, looking -sweet!- I can insert a coin and get a credit. But when I try launching the ball, I get this error:

"Line: 422

Variable is undefined: Bsize"

I'm running VP 9.1.5 as administrator on my Win7 laptop, with PinMAME v2.5.

I could not readily find an "sb6.vbs" file with "ver 3.37". In the VPF Getting Started / Essential Files / VBS Scripts, the latest "sb6.vbs" is "ver 3.36".

Where might I find the "ver 3.37" of the "sb6.vbs"?

What's changed in the "ver 3.37" script? Will it resolve the "Bsize" variable?

Thanks,

-PeterMac

The last VBS scripts are here , VBS 3.43

http://www.vpforums....ads&showfile=17

Extract and replace the old ones.
Inside file core.vbs is the update for the
ball size.

Thanks

Max

Hey, Kiwi,

Updating -all- the vbs files did the trick. Thanks.

This? is your FIRST table?? Ain't no way!  :good:

For the game itself, I never played TZ IRL. When looking at the playfield, it seemed a bit simple, almost as simple as an Atari table. But the actual gameplay is far better than it looks. It takes it up several notches, approaches addiction level.

Now that I've played your DT version, I just have to take it full screen now. Need to steal some gameroom time and get that going on my FS rig. Will get back to you.

Can't wait to see what you'll do next.  :dblthumb:

I'm glad you solved the problem.
Yes, this is my first job started and finished.
I have modded some other table for personal use, but none of these tables is really completed.

Thanks

Technical question...

How do I change the size of the pinball itself..in VPX its easy but with VPT I dont know ?

Love this table.

If you are using an older VP version, not DX9,

you need to set the XY Rotation to 360 degrees to make the X and Y Scale work.

Since the backdrop is based on 4/3 screens, the X scale will have to be adapted according to the aspect ratio of your screen,

this to maintain a correct aspect of the table and not to have the oval or squashed ball, desktop users do not have anti-stretch for the ball.

It is better to first set the Y scale and multiply this value by 0.75 if you have a 16/9 screen, or multiply by 0.83 if you have a 16/10 screen,

the result obtained should be used as an X scale.

Simple example with the X and Y scale set to 1, as for the 4/3 screen:

16/9 screen

X Scale 0,75 (1*0,75)

Y Scale 1

16/10 screen

X Scale 0,83 (1*0,83)

Y Scale 1

If by size you meant physical size of the table, go to the properties panel of the table (Editor),

in the Dimensions & Slope section and edit the width height / length table.
