Abra Ca Dabra is a classic EM table made by Gottlieb in 1975. The fiery playfield is stunning, featuring the wizard who is casting a particularly violent spell on you. This devil-looking wizard is in stark contrast to the kindly old-looking wizard with a Hefner-like fancy for young, beautiful, scantily clad women on the backglass.

The gameplay on this table is somewhat different in that the target banks are in the upper playfield and the pop bumpers in the lower playfield. Personally, I like the targets up on top, and also separated to either side. It's like Gottlieb's Fast Draw, with the targets being up top instead of the lower playfield. I think they make for more gratifying shots when you shoot it all the way up the playfield. Watch out for the pop bumpers, though .. since they are in the lower playfield, they'll hit the ball straight between the flippers if you're not careful ... standard Throatkill!

Hats off to Pinuck who did a fabulous, exquisite job in this recreation! :dblthumb:  It is a very addictive game, especially as a FS B2S. The table's oversized, single player scoring reels, as well as the half-moon credit wheel, bring back so many flashbacks to the arcade game making it feel like I'm playing the real thing. And the playfield is awesome! The artwork is clean and crisp, very well done. And the gameplay is excellent! It plays a bit faster than the arcade table that I remember ... but I'm finding I like it that way. It seems ..."smooth" ... or "fluid" ... that may not be the best way to describe the physics ... maybe "just right" would sum it up the best.

A truly enjoyable, addictive classic Gottlieb EM recreation! Yeah!!!  :drinks:

Got THAT right! Would really like to see an authentic Royal Flush. I know, I'm fussy beyond belief .. sorry! And, Grizz, your Royal Flush Deluxe is fabulous! But as for the original Royal Flush, I find myself craving a more realistic and authentic version of the table, complete with full EM function, such as on the bonus collect. Popette's FP version of the table is far closer to what RF should be ... but alas! it's FP

Just something on my wish list ...

1st on my cab!!

Grizz, i am jelous how clear that looks bro. I cannot read the rules on my apron at all on this table but cN SEE YOURS CRYSTAL CLEAR. This is the issue i've mentioned before that is puzzling to me, and now i can see the proof. I am going to fire up the cab now to see what it could be different. What res are you at again?

Well, if Grizz is on xp, he may be using FXAA and you are on win 7 and as we know it doesn't work on it.

Going to be epic! Some great magic coming from an amazing author!

I thank you brother  Pinuck :]

I totally agree Pintrepid, having this authentic will just be superb!

It needs it badly!

I played this at the corner store for a summer or two! I love RF my friends!

I have been bugging John for quite some time now for the B2S remake on the original!

Maceman..I use Panasonic Vierra TV HDMI connected @ 1920x1080 bro..nothing turned on, i use the older 270 drivers on XP3, no fxaa..no anti..nothing,.,that is why you see the jaggies along the rails sides.,i have VP9 maxed out setup wise. everything is crystal clear, the vid resolution on my cam is horrible,

Cab has the GTX580 3 gig hdmi connected for pf and for sound only! which is great compared to realtek HD audio connection on MB, I finally don't get that occasional crackle from roms any longer..

I will try and get better hires vids this weekend!

Thanx for that Grizz! Yeah, You know what. I am really thinking this is an OS issue.  Way back (maybe 2 years ago) i remember fiddling with a number of things...I didn't like the fonts, i didn't like cleartype text or whatever it is called in windows...settings like that.. I messed with them and never have been happy since and could never revert back.... I really think i must of messed it up. It is pretty clear overall and is why i have put up with it, but when i see aprons so clear, it reminds me :)

One day when i get enough breath, i will rebuild the OS and such and fix it once and for all!

Sorry for the side-line men.....

Back to the discussion at hand... I love these older EM's and Pinuck is the man! So looking forward to RF!!

This is a great table, awesome graphics and gameplay. Pinuck's VP objects are top notch and I've seen his bumper caps and lane plastics pop up in some other tables, that's how you know they are good. :)

Can someone try the AbraCaDabra_2.0 zip that is out there and see if it is corrupt for them?  I have tried it a few times now.  It fully completes and shows as 12 megs, but when attempted to open it says it is invalid or corrupted.
