Impacto FS B2S

Version: 1.0.1
Category: VP 9.x B2S Cabinet Tables (B2S)

Author(s): luvthatapex & lucasbuck

Description:
Recreativos Franco Impacto released in FS with animated backglass B2S.B2S.vbs is required. Zip includes table, animated backglass and b2s.vbs
This is our first B2S release. lucasbuck redrew the entire playfield and backglass and made other graphics for the table.

Special thanks to serpiko for some table objects and table code, and UW and others for direction in lighting and B2S.

The game is a simple layout and quite easy to flip over, so I've made it as difficult as possible keeping the rules intact.

This is a very rare game and the only one we know of in the USA is in Las Vegas, so enjoy.

Same problem here. Tried it also with an older B2S, but still got that error message.

Very nice "Art Deco" table. I like it.
Thanks!

@Luvthatapex,

I think that you forgot to comment the hardcoded search path to ScreenRes that you used for testing before the exe was built.

Whoops! Sorry about that! tapping.gif
Backglass path corrected you can download the full release again, or just this zip file with the corrected backglass.

Thanks Rosve!

Glad folks like it! Luvthatapex did a great job. It's the second table I did the art on, but first released since Big Hit is still being worked on. If you use Hyper there's wheel art here.

Thanks Roger and luvthatapex, problem solved.
All is working fine now.

A small criticism, you should allow me luvthatapex. I'd like to see the plastics without that white borders, which are here and there.
Please, don't understand me wrong. The table has beautiful motifs and that white borders disturbs the sensitive artist's eye.

This of course has no effect on the playful quality. The table is playing really well. Thanks, guys!

For those running the backglass at a different resolution than 1280x1024, I have updated the main download with a resolution independent backglass.
Apologies, please redownload if you want this version.

LTA

This looks and plays great..

I am a bit disappointed that the apron is low res however..especially after my request. Makes the table look lower grade when everything is high res, and then a low re apron.. If you need help with this, i am happy to help if you send me the PSD... cheers.

I'd be happy to make it higher res. Personally, I wish I understood more about how the playfield res worked. I'm doing them in 952 x 1777 at 300 dpi. If you increase the dpi, it just increases the res. I thought I was supposed to work at 952 x 1777. I'm not happy with how the Big Hit plastics came out, and would have loved to work in higher detail, but didn't think I could. Any explanation would be greatly appreciated, plus you'd end up with more detail.

I could always retype the text, but don't know how I would make any of the graphics clearer.

I can overlay the apron as a decal instead of a wall. What do you think of this one? I think the text is clearer and the apron is sharper.
