This looks AWESOME!!

Having some issues though. Seems to freeze every once in a while..

Also, if my son hits the tilt by accident (which is common since the flippers are right next door), a script error occurs. Is there a way to script it such that tilt will not error out??

awesome backglass!!!

Maceman: i'll look into the tilt problem - i hadn't thought much about tilt on this one.
any more info on how/when it's freezing?

Hi Pinuck,

...too early to be sure. When i was playing, it happened in the 3rd inning...my son thinks it was 3rd for him as well...

We are going to try again now to see if it happens again and when/where.

Cheers.

This is a fantastic game..so fun!

The game is totally awesome. Great job on this one. Thanks Pinuck!

Mace, just put an apostrophe in front of all of the nudge lines in the script to make them remarks and then they won't be executed. That would be line 138-142 of the script.

Thanx bob- will do!!!

Pinuck, okay just played several more games ...was able to make it pretty far. It froze again in the 3rd, but the inning may or may not be an issue...

What i noticed however is that it froze when i hit the ball to the right side, and it went between single and out (into the empty blackness in between, and that is when it freezes. I am wondering if for some reason it doesn't register the ball in that spot??

hopefully we can find out the issue!

...I should mention as well as this may be an FS issue. I notice once (and only once so far) that i shot the ball beyond the top of the screen (out of the bleachers)...this normally happens when i try a game that hasn't been converted to FS and the ball goes over walls and such.. I am wondering if if you hit the ball between the words( double, single, out) then it goes into oblivion? Just a thought!

maceman: have you changed the settings for scale/offset/rotation etc?
i encountered those issues earlier on, but not since i started using the current values for display, as well as some of the heights of table objects.

I haven't made any changes to this table at all....

It seemed to be perfect on scaling and such, so i left it alone. I'll try to see if it happens again. I just played a few more games with no issues....

btw- just an idea, but this would be cool with the 'high score post-it' like in abracadabra! smile.gif

This is Freaking incredible Pinuck! I love it!

I am going to try to get my buddy from work to come over and check it out. I'll let you know what he says as far as accuracy on the speed/physics. I'll also ask him about recording the sounds (although the sounds seem fine here?)

Thanks again for this awesome addition to my cabinet collection!

I made a quick video. Sorry about the shaky video and bad game play. This one is especially tough to play with one hand smile.gif

Yes, it freezes over here too.
When you hit the ball on the right side between out and double.

...just had another freeze up. I launched a line drive right up between double and whatever it says behind the ramp:) In FS i can't read it, i think it is triple!

Anyways, it is definitely an issue when the ball goes into the space between! Hope that helps for troubleshooting!

Yes I reproduced the problem today also. Seems like the ball is missing a trigger when it goes between targets, and the pitching unit is not resetting - so it appears to be frozen (since you can't do anything!)

I'll start looking at a fix.

Thanks for the feedback everyone.

Plays great! I'm getting the freeze as well.

On a side-note, is anyone able to get the media pack or a table video for this in HP?

Thanx man.... Sometimes i hate reporting bugs, because i feel maybe the authors think i am picking on their builds...but of course, I am only telling it like it is. This made it on my cab immediately. bug and all, so what does that say eh? smile.gif

I hope you can find a cure, and until then, I am having fun!
Cheers,
Maceman
