I decided to give a B2S table a try. (Almost worked)
Here is what I get on my setup.

I have typed the following in the Text file:
1366
768
1280
1024
1

As you can see the back glass shows up great. However the table, not so much.
I have double checked and my table monitor is set up to use 1366 X 768 in VPinball.
What might I be doing wrong here?

@Arcade4:
Do you have the right screen # for your backglass in the 5th line of that text file?
Also, are you using the version of b2s.vbs from the download?

Pinuck! Fabulous table! Excellent work, the backglass is just amazing!

Arcade, did you change any of the alpha ramps to acrylic? I did, and the left plastic (ramps 156) will cause your display problem, you need to click on a control point and change it to not be smooth. Probably won't help you, but I had the same screen as you did in your screenshot.

Is there a way to get StartShake to work? I couldn't see any table shake when i added it to the script?

Thanx!

Yes. #1 is the small top monitor.
#2 is my playfield and also my active monitor for desktop.

I have not changed any ramps as I have no idea how to even do that.
And yes I am using the B2S.vbs from the download. This is the first time I have tried to run a B2S table so everything I have is from this download.
If I run just the backglass.exe, the backglass pops up on the correct monitor as well.

How are you possibly running #1 as your backglass monitor and #2 as your playfield, and getting your DMD's to stay?

I didn't think that was possible.

I am pretty sure that is what the problem may be.. Most of us are setup for monitor #1 as the playfield and monitor #2 as the backglass. Also making sure that monitor #1 is to the left of monitor 2 in your Windows display settings.

Good question. I just set up my two monitors last week. I have never had two monitors before.
So far I use Hyperpin for my backglass and playfield setup. It works perfectly as I have set it up. The DMD stays in place just fine on my small backglass monitor.
I am using an ATI 5670 video card.
In the multi monitor setup screen, my small screen backglass monitor has a 1 on it.
My playfield monitor has a 2 on it and an * to let it know it is the primary monitor.
My backglass monitor sits to the right of my playfield monitor on the setup screen.
Have I done something incorrect?
I am very new at running two monitors.

Pinuck: I just had a few rounds on my cabinet. Absolutely amazing quality table! Thanks very much!

Arcade4: I think that you may run into problems with B2S and UVP if you are running monitor 1 as your backglass.

You can try reversing them.. (You may have to physically unplug them and swap the cables).

Get Windows to detect your playfield as monitor #1, and make sure it is on the left of monitor #2 in your Windows Display settings.

Reconfigure Hyperpin to take the changes..

Reconfigure B2S text file to monitor #2 in line 5.

Then try running this B2S table again.

I have the same problem, and I have all other B2S tables running fine with backglass.

I believe that Ramp156 and Ramp157 are the cause.

I just deleted them; that seems to work.

Ok, Maybe Arcade4 should then just disregard my previous post. If everything is working the way it should be, then try what 007 suggested.

I am afraid that you may run into issues down the road if you decide to run UVP, but I could be wrong there also.

(I just didn't realize that it was possible to run the monitors the way you have them)

EDIT:
I also just noticed that you are running your playfield at 1366X768. Are you also running that res 007?

Awesome. How do I fix the ramps?
Maybe I will try another B2S Table.

I think it's worth digging into the primary/secondary monitor settings, though. My "fix" may only be a workaround.
I'm not even sure which monitor is which on my system anymore. It's behaving very odd.

I have clicked all over the Abra ca dabra table. I can't fine a ramp to save my life. Much less Ramp 156 or 157 where are these ramps hidden?

Tried Captain Fantastic on a whim.
The table shows up great. However I can't find the code in the script to make the Backglass program run.
There seems to be no True/False line to make it auto run.
If I double click on the backglass file it runs just fine, Just not when the table starts.

Just tried Central Park. Works great. cool.gif

Captain Fantastic is not updated to use the latest B2S system. It's very much a prototype B2S table.

Regarding the display setup,
It shouldn't matter if the playfield is on monitor 1 or 2 as long as the playfield display is the first display (to the left in the dual monitor setup) and set to be the primary display (the one with a star on it)
