All,

Can the DMD on the Translite be removed now since we can push it to the actual DMD?

Yes, but rather than "remove" it, you have to just resize the translite so that it doesn't show on the screen. You can also move it off screen in the editor however you'll have a big black box where it used to be on the translite.

... So what I do is when sizing the table, I resize the translite to not include the speaker/grill area. Takes two minutes and the benefit is on my widescreen monitor, backglass looks a lot better now. :)

Thats what I do, dont think you can delete it though you still need it there just off screen.

The LEDwiz stuff works by reading a second offscreen DMD for the lamp  + feedback info.

On some of slamt1lts tables with the movie clips you probably want to move that area up higher on the translite so not to loose it, its often named MyDMD.

Awesome. So....the reason I ask is I was hoping something that is currently missing would be included.

That is that when you exit a table, it reloads the txt file that most people have created for their cabinets for their custom logos. I know that russ had to add that in somewhere for VP too.

That code lives in vpinmame.dll source, i can dig it out and pass onto macro and see if he want to add it as a feature. you would most likely need to copy your txt file to the same location as macros .dll for it to work :)

at the moment I have a logo screen when it starts, and a blank screen when it exits - but if I load them from a text file I will allow for a start screen and an exit screen, so if you want to have something other than blank, then you can have whatever you like!

testing nearly complete, once the logo stuff is in and working it should be ready to be made available for you all to experiment with.

Well, here it is, the first official release version of FP-Intercept, with support for PinDMD versions 1 and 2 and LedWIZ.

no guarantee that it's fully working but people who have tested it have had quite a bit of success

Enjoy!

Thanks for posting the release Macro!

I tried it last night but did not have any success... I'm not a massive FP user but I think I did everything right. I've just upgraded from the PinDMD v1 to v2. With v1 the test version was working with my plasma DMD but it was buggy (ghosting). With this new v2 version it loads the Macro logo, but when I start a table nothing happens, the logo remains. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong?

Have tried both LEDwiz and non-LEDwiz versions , same result.
