DOF recode is done - quick demo with default 4 color integrated DMD.

Looks very cool sitting behind the ramps.

Some more testing for a couple of days and then I'll release an update.

Off now to play Bingo with the other Girls xx

Will we need the beta 10.1 to use this when you are done

Thanks John

Yes, the integrated DMD version will require 10.1 beta version. If you only want to use the beta with this table and use a front end like Pinball X you can rename the Beta exe, drop it in next to VPX final and configure the front end to use only the beta .exe for this table.

....

One small issue - not a big one at all: The metal ring "inside" the Boom Balloon failed the retract below the surface once for me. I would have taken a screenshot, but I was on a hot game (joined the circus).

....

I experienced the same issue with the metal ring. I tried to take a screenshot to demonstrate, but I messed that up somehow.

Fantastic table. Really enjoy the improvements to the physics as well as all the models and lighting. The dmd integration I will have to check out.
Joined the circus for the first time over the weekend so either I got a lot better, the physics were more predictable or the extra flipper length helped ALOT.

Hello Arngrim, can you please submit this map to the DOF online tool database.

Feel free to change the colors if you want but not the assignment numbers otherwise further updates to the table (should there be any) will break DOF.

The shaker motor is assigned to a ringmaster hit.

The B2Sname is cv_dmd

It should still run with the normal 10.0, i think. Although you won't get the fancy DMD then, of course.

Dozer, please share the modified table, i need to test it, with the config, and i will probably extend the effects, not change any existing numbers ;)

Somehow I think setting the threshold of the boom balloon to 1 (instead of 0) feels better.

That boom bumper is impossible to get right with a wall. There are times the ball hits the connecting point between slingshot walls and doesn't activate the sling.  Hopefully the devs can include a boolean value for bumper enable in the next beta and then we can use a proper invisible bumper there and get a perfect result.

The table updates are complete but I want to wait to see if this update to the bumper class is possible.

I have emulated the ball bouncing back slightly off the ramp end points.

I didn't get far modding this table, but I think what I did was erase the slingshots and just used elasticity. It's not the best solution though

Try these settings with a simple primitive:

Elasticity 7

Elasticity Falloff 3.5

Here's a picture of the metal ring in the Boom Balloon that remained up after the boom balloon went down.  The ball doesn't hit it though, it is as if there is nothing there.

Hey there, thanks for capturing that - this has been fixed.  The update is ready to upload but we're just waiting to see if the next beta has a feature that will enabled a more accurate boom balloon bumper to be implemented.
