In the reference commands the explanation of the LightSeq is missing.

Thanks!

Toxie, Fuzzle,

Got a request regarding ramp objects.

Is it possible to have an option to place a "top plane" or "roof" on top of the visible walls for a ramp? I want this feature as to make it easier to create the thin walls that appear on all tables. Currently, these thin walls need to be created with wall objects and you have to manually set the width of the walls by manipulating the many "points", and its time consuming to set them uni-formally and can also lead to minor irregularities that can cause ball wierdness. Even a standard thin wall on a table needs 4 "points". But I would prefer to use a ramp object rather than a wall object because you can dial in the exact width with a numerical value, and simply design that same wall with 2 points for a straight wall. IMO, the ramps are simply easier and more uniform to use for creating walls in general.

But in order to do this, I need to add that top plane for visual purposes. So is it possible to give us this option in the ramp properties? Another benefit of the more uniform walls and as already mentioned, there could be less ball weirdness compared to a more NON uniform wall object.

Thoughts?

Thanks for pointing on that, Wrd, It would also be very useful for siderails in desktop mode

Last night I was cleaning up and doing back ups for resources for VP games.

Half the time the exported blueprints .bmp take alot for what they are, around 20mb. I forget about these and do a few per game usually.

Any chance blueprints can be exported to compressed image?

is implemented now. you can choose other formats like png now.

Hi super guys !!! ;) I would like to know if it could be possible to script some material's parameters ? like Thickness or others ?

Don't find anything on this way in the CommandReference (or perhaps i didn't see it...)

I now added the UpdateMaterial call (see CommandReference) which allows to update all parameters of a Material..

(of course only non-static objects will be updated with these new parameters!)

rev3782 is up:

- add new UpdateMaterial script function for changing materials for dynamic elements
- allow to export blueprints in different image formats
- slightly tweak debugger dialog
- fix rather old bug in physics settings per material for collidable setting for walls (in since VPX 10.2+)

I didn't know you could multiple select from "Select Element" table......... "Hold shift to select objects" - "Hold shift again on selected and double click", so this solves quickly updating table elements.

Couple of things here i think will help after updating games from this table.

Select Element:
    - Show assigned physics mat in table
    - A refresh button to reflect updated Mats or update table after table objects change.

Would it be possible to add backglass volume slider and sfx volume slider setting during play ? Not only in the editor ? (there are two sliders in the editor) but it would be nice to tweak it during playmode using some keys... Or it is possible and I don't know how ?

Regards

Luk

Repro table and exact repro steps, please, cause for example with the default table it works.

would still have been good to get the table to be able to actually fix this..  :/

music files are all that are supported by bass, so yes, at least ogg and mp3

internal sound effects are only wav   :/

Again: Please, if you want to have things fixed you NEED to supply an actual repro (unless it's totally obvious why and how something should/can be repro'ed)!

That doesn't mean that we stop working on VP. It's just the final 10.6 release we are planing for quite some time now.

You can look forward to 10.7 as I'm planing to give the GUI a rework so that we get dockable windows and some other neat stuff in the future.
