Hi @makmak nice to see you. How about continuing our personal battle in this place? ;)

Hi, sure, but will be hard to follow up, you have 'worked' a lot to get there!!! But I have another idea...

I picked RajoJoeys VR Room Frontier 1.0.2. The physics also seem strange to me.

No, since I don't have any VR equipment, I normally play in cabinet mode. Today I played the table with 64bit and physics seem a little more realistic.

But maybe I'm just imagining it ;) Bord's version without VR plays identically I think.

Huge red flag....me having the number one score ;)
That one is a new one being tested for the next release
If i am the only one with a score you can assume it's one being added for the next release

Hi @DNADisturber,

Thanks for this wonderful piece of software. I am not sure this is the right place to ask, but I have an issue with the Lethal Weapon 3 3.01 unofficial MOD (lw3_301). According to the release notes it should be supported and I also see an entry for it in the pinemhi.ini file. But when I run PINemHi.exe it says the ROM is not supported:

C:\vPinball\PINemHI>PINemHi.exe lw3_301.nv
Not supported rom : C:\vPinball\VisualPinball\VPinMAME\nvram\lw3_301.nv

Oddly enough if I simply rename the nvram file to lw3_208.nv it does work and extracts the correct high scores. I am doing something wrong?

Hi tjaf,

that rom is supported for the online hiscores (pinemhi leaderboard)
The normal pinemhi (which you are using ) is lacking some updates on the newer roms unfortunately
The rom has probably the same values as the lw3_208 roms that's why it works when you rename it

How did I not know about this? Goal one when I'm home next: set this up on my cabinet!

I've been longing for this ever since the old VP tournament site closed about twenty years ago!

Does this only work with ROM tables?

Leaderboard is based on rom tables. Not all tables/roms are supported (yet ?).
I thouught that Pinemhi can read all nvrams for the highscores.

Only the ones it knows how to and can access the location I think.

Some ROMs I notice it cannot detect any changes

If you feel the need to empty your wallet in my direction, i don't have any way to receive it anyways

This is a great addition to Visual Pinball! A lot of fun!

When a 5-minute game is interrupted because the 5 minutes have passed, is the score of the game in progress not submitted to the website? I just had a Pin*Bot game which stopped after 5 minutes and my score was 2.4 million, but that score was not submitted. Played another game that finished within the 5 minutes with a score of almost 1.6 million, and that score was submitted.

Hey Patrick©, can you post your pinemhi leaderboard logfile after this issue happens?
Somewhere in these pages, I mentioned that the pin bot and the bride of pinbot have 2 exit events (sub table1_exit). This could be why it's not saving the nvram correctly.
I also made a post on vpu of the original uploaded file, but it was never changed in the table.
Just check the script parts and see if it has multiple <tablename>_exit events. If it does, delete one (it should have something like controller.stop in it, to stop the vpinmame controller and that would save the state to the nvram file).
I hope this helps, and thanks for not uploading that score. You know I would've been mad! :drinks:

What's going on with these crazy high scores by members of VPA Team?? Are these legit?? I see guys on the board on this weeks table (Godzilla) that I know they can play some good pinball....and then number 1 from VPA Team with a score that is 10 times higher...(they have other extreme high scores past months, a lot of times 5 to 10 times higher than other high score competitions if you compare those scores with the PinemHi table of the week). Just checking, not accussing. Apologies if offended in any case, but the true fair sportsmanship needs to be defended.

Hi Mancave

No way of knowing I'm afraid.
PinemHi Leaderboard is based on the honor system

All about the fun of some online competition.....I hope everybody sees it like that and can refrain themselves from cheating

I have seen earlier examples of very high hiscores and that person went as far as recording it and put it on youtube to counter the accusations
Some people are very good at these games.....

It is not possible to find a technical solution against cheating unfortunately

If you want a competion with people who you know/trust you can add them to your friends list and use that as a competition

Just my 2 cents
:drinks:

I Agree with mancave (you are 0COOL, right)?
We had some discussion on tweakers.net with some as well.
Yan-ylf and zeckenheimer are even beaten with absurd scores by VPA.
Maybe it is legit, but If someone doesn't have a score and his first score is really high, I don't trust it.

This is all about trust and I love to do the challanges, but I don't like if people are cheating.
Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying people are cheating, i just say I don't like cheating
