Thanks for all the information. I'll take a look at the backglass later when I get back to the PC that has VP on it.

You can import the dB2S backglass into the Backglass Designer.
First click File tab and then click Import DirectB2S Backglass file.
I have a problem importing the file, which is the hauntfreaks version.
I opened it in Backglass Designer but got a message “The following fonts can not be found on your system: ‘StarTrekGen Hv BT’. Maybe install these fonts & reimport the backglass file.”
Long time ago I read there was a VP font file but it was not needed anymore, however I don't recall the details. Is there a master font file that is still needed for VP? Is it used for both the table and the backglass? Or can I just download individual fonts as needed?

Not sure if it matters, but it said same thing about font for me when I imported it into the backglass designer, but I just clicked ok and it still loaded into designer, and I uploaded fixed version a few post back.
Although the font is not installed on your computer, I think it was imported into the original dB2S backglass. So when running the backglass, it will use the font added to backglass even if you don't have this font installed on your setup..
But in the designer, the backglass is not running, which is why it shows you don't have the font.
You can find font package for VP here if you didnt use all in one installer (But it doesn't have the Star Trek font...)

But you can find that font here available for free..

We probably shouldn't clutter up table support topics, with backglass problems, as they have there own seperate support topic.

I didn’t mean to use table support for a backglass problem. I just didn’t realize it was a backglass issue to begin with.
Moving my questions to the “dB2S Designer Discussion” sub forum.

You can import the dB2S backglass into the Backglass Designer.
First click File tab and then click Import DirectB2S Backglass file.
Once you have backglass imported into designer, click illumination tab then click show illumination frames.
Then you will see the lights that need to be switched. Best way to do this is just switch the rom id numbers between both sets of lights.
The lights on bottom should have rom id numbers changed, starting from left to right.. 50 51 52 53......then the player 1 through 4 lights need rom ids changed to 57 58 59 60. player 1 would be rom id 57, and player 4 would be rom id 60.
So basically you are just swapping these rom id numbers between the 4 on bottom and the 4 next to player scores.
If it still seems too hard for you to figure out how to change,
I added link to backglass with these changes. And I will remove this link, when the original is fixed, or if I am asked to remove it.
Here is link to original backglass i used to convert, made by Hauntfreaks but is only an image upgrade to Piggei's backglass, so Piggei's will have same problem. (I am sending Hauntfreaks message and I am sure he will update as soon as possible.)

Here is fixed version until original gets upgraded..

Hope this helps.
I forgot to mention - I made the changes & everything looks good.
Thanks again.

I seem to remember that earlier incarnations (VP9) of this table had the same problem like this VPX one: namely, that the pop bumpers don't score and the top A, K, Q, J lights behave erratically when the ball rolls over them. Also, they don't switch with the push of the flipper buttons. In addition, someone already mentioned that coining up and starting a game is a little, ahem, temperamental...
There can be other things too, I'm not sure since it was very long ago when i played the real table.
I also remember that somehow, the same problems were not happening with the VP9 version when a UVP backglass was used. Only when dB2S was activated did the thing start acting up.
Did anyone else notice the same issues?

Downloaded this last week(after using VP9 for ages) and when I try to play it the game takes coins and when I start it makes some table noises and then TILTS. I am not hitting any buttons. No balls come out. If I hit the coin button 3 balls come out and I can lunch them all at the same time. I am using newly downloaded from site L6 ROM
I tried using various roms and changing the name of ROM in the script but then the table does not work at all(b6 and l2)
I am sure I am missing something simple. Any help...appreciated.
