On the subject of the honour system (which i agree is the only realistic way), i assume no-ones playing EB buy-ins this week? (it's cheating!!!). Think it's the default rom setting to ask you if you want to.

 

Or is pinemhi clever enough to differentiate a buy-in score from a 'real' score?

 

You can only buy in one extra ball cant you?

or is that ROM different?

Yeah, think it's probably only one. Don't use it so not 100% sure.

Yeah, think it's probably only one. Don't use it so not 100% sure.

 

 

Not sure myself, i just know of the tables i play, when they offer a buy in and its like Man i almost got that, they offer you one ball

The system hasn't booted fully yet.
You need a wait for a couple of seconds
Best way is to use a script.

Or look a little bit up the thread..i believe wiesshund or scutters also had another solution

Congrats on last weeks Elvira score!
Don't know what it is with Space Shuttle, maybe i've totally messed up my POV on the cab but the only way i can hit the lock ball shots is with fluke rebounds.
 
Question for DNA - is there any chance friend scores could display as an alias?. Not sure what characters are allowed when registering but if it would be nice to add in the ini something like 'friendn=leaderboardname|displayname' and then use the display name (if found) in the popups. Just a nice to have, if it'd be a ball ache to do then just ignore me!

Don't think it's doable without putting in much time..I'm afraid i'm gonna have to disappoint you..sorry

All the weekly challenges have been automated...so i don't have to spend time on them
Posting links for the tables would cost me time again..
I first have to research which tables there are and find the one to use and put a link in the thread
I automated it for a reason

Maybe someone else would like to do it..but not sure if everybody would read the post who enters the weekly challenge

oh I didn't realize it was automated, if I'm around I'll post the table I'm using for the challenge as well as any docs/rule sheets/video tutorials I find. but I make no promises I might be to busy trying to play catch up... I'm sure you see how hard I'm trying by how many scores are submitted daily lol.

 

oh also about the buy in seems whatever I do it just opts out which is perfect since it easily moves on to the next attempt that way.

I think thats not worth to do it. Lot of effort and like DNA says , who will check it ?

I have on my planning to create a small program for pinballx users, that would launch with a key/joy press the weekly challenge table and another key for the weekly 5 min challenge.
More in my case, not to search in 900 tables for the correct table

well I always look up the rules and tutorials on all the tables that I set out to play and that is part of the fun for me, it only takes me a second to post it - as for who would pay attention... even if it helps 1 or 2 people its better than nothing and if nobody looks oh well.

 

doesn't mean I score well but at least I kinda know what I'm supposed to be aiming at.

My pinemhi is starting during boot and during launch of vpx, it checks if process is running, if not, it will start it again.

I usually do but occasionally the L hotkey drives me nuts so I had shut it down, its to bad I couldn't assign a hotkey for suspending the hotkeys that was like ctrl+alt+somekey windows doesn't use. I've been slacking on setting up my frontend and been guilty of typing here / discord / twitch and other places in between sessions. I'm sure I'll crack 1 billion + again, at least I had twitch setup on the run (I also have resolved my quality and frame drop issues)

Mike Can you share your script here? I can't find it on PinballX. Running monitor through the task scheduler results in the error I gave a few posts ago. Unfortunately adding a delay of even a minute does not help. Running manually does not result in the error.

In fact, conflicting keyboard shortcuts make work a bit difficult.... but there is an option to "disable keyboard shortcuts" on the tray icon.

PINemHI is supposed to just work with PinballY frontend right? somethings amiss with my setup if it is - it's not grabbin scores or listing hiscores (also no options in the front end which im assuming there should be to like launch into 5 minute mode) what must I do to get it working correctly? what a nightmare the 4 buttons required are....
