It's so funny when two Germans talk English to each other, and now I'm too... ;)

Would it be possible to have the bumper skirt texture available to edit? I like the built in animation but it would be nice to be able to texture it. The bumper base is less important since it isn't animated and can easily be replaced w/ a mesh.

At restart the current beta assigns the playfield to my second monitor (designated as monitor 2 in Windows 10), which is 2k and makes my 4k screen secondary. Really annoying.

I have the same problem. I just updated to a 4k screen got everything running. Rebooted and now vpx 3653 shows my monitors numbered different than what windows has. I have my monitors in windows as 1.playfield 2. Backbox 3. Dmd. Any ideas why vpx renumbered my displays? I cant play because my playfield now shows up on my backglass. So weird. It worked before and I'm not a vpx newbie. Where does vpx get the monitor ids from. Not from windows display settings or nvidia settings as they are both set correctly.

Ok so not sure if this fixed it but I updated b2s server and now vpx has my screens numbered correctly and all is good. This maybe a random coincidence but at least it's working now.

The next build will hopefully also fix this in general.

Nope it did it again. Powered on cab and looked under video preferences. Going to revert back to 3592. Will wait for next 10.6 beta. 69bc6913dbc5a804631fb59f00a44786.jpg

Sorry for the inconvinience, I wrote this piece of code. The one with the Asterisk (in your case) should be the primary display. The displays are reported in this order and unfortunatelly, there is no proper information from Microsoft side, how the matching between monitors, adapters (GPUs) and the numbering in the resolution dialog works. I thought I figured it out for the latest version, but when I look at your screen, it seems that there is some more magic behind.

Is the numbering static, or does it change when you restart VPX or your PC?

rev3660 is up:

- fix normal computations of old legacy primitive (i.e. that triangulated tube)
- fix flicker of video modes in preferences dialog, patch by Caligula
- cleanups

Thanks for the response and definitely no need to apologize. I understand you guys sacrifice your time and talents for us. This happens when rebooting the computer.
On windows 10. If that helps.
Thank you.

Could you please recheck with the latest build above?

To all others: If you know a table that uses the old primitives (as mentioned above, the thing that looks like a cube or tube), please test these ones if they still look okay.

I used the old primitive object without importing a mesh in the big ufo in my AFM table, and it looks fine with this latest revision :) I have also used that primitive to make the door in front of ramp in WOW-Monopoly and it also looks fine.

I turned cab on and checked it was still not right. I installed 3660 and rebooted it is now correct! Woo hoo! Rebooted twice and it held the correct numbering. Thank you! I did notice one small thing in video preferences the detail slider was all the way to the right. I just moved it left and I think all is good!

It did it again! I just booted up cab and this is what it shows. Maybe windows 10 doing this? Never had issue before putting 4k in cab. d4bb2cb08ad926e50442dab3624be290.jpg

Feature request:

can we get the nifty X, Y coordinate Copy Paste feature added to primitives and maybe to other single point position built in's like bumpers, triggers, gates, lights etc. for primitives I'm ok with it just being X and Y, or for including Z I can see use cases for both.

thanks as always guys.

I second that. Used a lot here too.

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

I feel your pain, I upgraded to a 4k playfield and ran into some issues.  Mostly though a complete shutdown and reboot would fix the numbering.  I have 4 monitors setup in windows, mostly works (90% of the time I guess).  Good luck.

(you have them laid out left to right in windows right?

Correct. Yes they are correct in windows. Think I will try beta 3592 that has been suggested to me.
