Make sure you are using the latest build of 10.2. I havent seen that problem at all.

Far as I know I am but I have patched it so many times lately I can't really say if it's quite right. Is 10.2 official yet or still beta?

table plays fine but my score seems to be going over the player 1 and player 2 displays.  So on the 1st player I see 4 digits...player 2 I see 1 "0".  And I am playing single player.

Sure you're using the correct rom version for the db2s ? Running 6 digit rom for a 7 digit db2s and vise versa ?!

I am using the same B2S and ROM I used for the V9 table and that scoring was fine.  Is there a newer one for the VPX table?

I edited the script to use kissb but I get the same results.  Curious which ROM others are using.

I expect that one is working, the other not. It is explained in the release what the rom should be.
