the collision detection and handling only allows balls to be movable and collidable so far.. everything else is not possible at the moment.. and given the state of the collision code with all its weird heuristics and hacks (that i also have as one construction site revisited and cleaned up/changed, but heavily unfinished/untested) its nothing simple and quick to do..

this is more or less code that is still the same as when it was first released in VP9 (plus some optimizations and cleanups done in the last year or two or so)..  :/

Can a 0 to 1 volume parameter be added to PlayMusic (similar to playsound) ?

post the ball image and the decal image you want to use... I have a test I want to try...

Just use the one in Dr Dude and add the scratches - boom!

I used my quota of likes for the day.

Thank you for the update!

All the work and time you all spend updating to help others is definately appreciated.

Now if I decide to make VP8 NFL Mods, I can include this new core.vbs with it!!

Have a great day!

Is it possible to add an option to use a set of default sounds? Say for the slingshots, bumpers, flippers, ect? So you could select your own sounds for each function that overwrite all the table sounds? Kinda like the ball option now. mainly because I use sounds as my force feedback and some of the table sounds used just don't vibrate enough. Well, I guess that would be a big change. But just curious.

Not sure if this is a new bug or hasn't been noticed yet:

This does nothing in the latest 10.2 beta

Speaking of the debugger - perhaps a hot key or option to always turn it on , always turn on the window / etc?

It gets quite repetitive to start a table, right click, open debugger, open the window, move it off screen .. rinse and repeat.

rev2797 is up:

- Add show debugger hot key option to the keys preferences. If hot key is pressed it opens the debugger window without showing the pause menu. Support for an always on debugger window isn't possible at the moment.
- handle ball size message update in pause debug dialog

I was using Fuzzel's very helpful physics guide document recently and was thinking it would be very cool if those numbers in the document showed as tool tips in the physics options in the editor.

Could we get an editor option to always have the options pane open by default?

Thanks

-Mike

*BUG* So the key preferences shows D. I press D and the debug window pops up. I move it off screen, click on the table and nothing - it doesnt return control back to the table and run. I close the debug window and the table functions again.

Can you verify on your side please. Thanks!

That's no bug. The debug window is modal and stops the player, as noted in my previous post. The is currently no other way to solve that, sorry.

Well the debug window needs to allow control in the player otherwise it's not useful right? Just not when the debug window is focused. That's the way it's always been
