I've having a couple issues with sound volumes.

The built in sounds (in the example tables for instance) are much much quieter than they use to be many of them i can barely hear at all, things like flip_hit1 etc.

The other issue seems to be mostly with the later gottlieb system 1 tables in that the rom sound fluctuates softer and louder while playing.  Easily noticeable in Incredible Hulk, totem, Asteroid Annie, Buck Rogers, all the ones with the more advanced sound card (not sure the earlier ones have rom sounds)

I'm not sure exactly where it started, probably to do with the new bass.dll, but both issues work fine in 3592 and do not in the latest beta (3653).

Also just had a crash, had been opening and closing several tables without exiting VP testing the sound stuff and it crashed starting a table.

The crash isn't a VPX issue it's coming from VPM.

Also weird that the VPX version has an effect on "The other issue seems to be mostly with the later gottlieb system 1 tables in that the rom sound fluctuates softer and louder while playing". That cannot be in theory as BASS.DLL is not used in that case at all.

Toxie, wanted to report after playing AFM for 30 minutes that it works on the rev. 3653 - I don't know what happened yesterday but it looks like a edge case.

3653 is fine, no more stutter and no crashes, somoth like butter again, was my fault cause I forgot to check the windows 10 compatibility option to disable fullscreen optimizations before checking this version.

Probably asked before on earlier Beta releases, but I dont remember, is there a possibility to adjust the SSF intensity for each element?

Noticed weird behavior in video options. If you hold your mouse button down on "ok" the resolution menu scrolls to the top and looks like it will default to 640x480. Keeping mouse button held in click on cancel no issue. Could just be me or I'm not explaining very good. But anyway thank you all so much for all the work you do!

Hi all, I am not crashing since the latest 3653 update but having video anomalies that started a few versions of the beta ago, I first noticed it in 39.

If I use a front end, no problem the table exits as it should.

If I use VPX editor on its own, when I exit a table the playfield image ramains on the screen. If I right click I can see what would amount to a right like in the editor or windows desktop, depending on mouse location. The only was to resolve the issue is to reboot, the image of the playfield will not leave the desktop.I first noticed this on WoZ but it is not table dependant, it is across this, TOTAN, AFM & others.

I also notice that if I go into video preferences my playfield defaults to 640*480 on exit (normal playfield res is 1920x1080 with Force Exclusive FullScreen enabled). I have noticed that if I select 1920x1080 (Windowed) and remove the selection for Force Exclusive FullScreen, it will remain at that resolution.

I have a GTX 970 OC 4GB using NVIDIA driver 388.13 if that helps, running 3 monitors.

Hey awesome VP devs: I'm also have an issue with a defaulting to 640 x 480 resolution using exclusive fullscreen.  My specific issue is if I change ANYTHING in the video options, the resolution section jumps to the resolution listed at the very top which is 640 x 480.  even if I choose my preferred resolution (3840x2160) , it doesn't seem to save it. A work around is I need to select "set to high end pc" which automatically sets the proper resolution (4K and all options are turned on) then deselect everything I don't want.  Once I click ok it saves it but if I go back and select ANY option, the resolution jumps back in the menu to 640x480.  Note that I am running VP in 4K.   version 3650 also does this.  I hadn't tried any other version since the change to "Video/graphics option" so can't confirm if it goes back to that version (the one that lists "display 1" beside the resolution.  What version is this?  I can try it out and let you know if the very first version with these changes does this

toxie: you running a 4K VP?

Same thing happened to me with resolution switch to 640x480 I think I switch from non exclusive to exclusive and it switched. Don’t hold me to that but through me for a loop :)

found a glitch...when using 3653, and playing monster bash, ( tom towers version ) the monsters faces no longer light up when you complete the monster, or in attract mode.

note...this lighting only previously worked when table reflections are enabled, if you disabled the reflections the faces would not light,

that being said. table reflections are enabled, worked on my previous setup ( sorry cant remember off hand what vpx version it was, can find out though if needed ) and now they dont light up.

Fuzzle- So I've been messing around with the VR version of VP and had a question about the camera clipping. Not sure if this is at all possible but I was wondering if it could be increased. I'm currently modeling a eviroment or room for the table(s) to be in and as it sits now it's a bit small before the camera clips out. https://www.youtube....h?v=9m21sXXfOLs

It's not a big deal otherwise was just curious if it could be made bigger.

Thanks.

No sorry. If the clipping boundaries for the camera would change all camera settings for all tables would also change.

Would a checkbox for the VR gameroom be possible? When you check it the clipping distance is raised, when unchecked it's the same as now?

I don't think we should mix VPX with the special VR version at the moment. We are planning to integrate that but not for 10.x.
So again sorry I don't want to add another flag/ option just to satisfy another tool that isn't maintained directly by us at the moment.
