Yeah. But, you know what. You devs are a huge reason why this is. VPX is as I've said many times before - leaps and bounds over other emulators. I think it knocks the socks off even commercial alternatives. Sure, it has its bugs, nicks and nacks. But, you need to accept broken eggs when it is made for free an on peoples spare time.

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

On an unrelated sidenote, we since sometime this year have now > 600 unique (i.e. not counting MODs, LEs vs PROs, etc) tables running in VPX! (and approaching 650 actually soonish)

Insane!!

:bar3: CHEERS TO THE VPX DEVELOPERS AND THE AUTHORS!!!! THAT'S ONE BIG PACKAGE OF PINBALL!

Keep up the great work guys.

That crash isn't related to VPX. It looks like your win 7 setup has some issues. The call stack shows only addresses in windows or .net dolls.

I'll admit I don't know how to read the crash report, but 10.5 never crashes.

It's simple if the first address lines of the call stack read VPinballX.exe then this is related to VPX :)

@all: If you have a crash the easiest thing is to copy the crash.txt here in the thread. Downloading the crash.dmp or the complete zip files from different cloud services is sometimes not possible for me (because of firewall restrictions ;) )

Upgrade. A little more research and it looks like a .Net issue. Windows updated .NET this morning and so far no crashes.

Toxie, Fuzzel,

Now that we can have a Prim playfield surface available for tables. I am wanting to convert my BBBB table to a prim PF to alleviate the egg-ball it causes with my preferable backdrop settings. Currently, all objects on BBBB are 200 units high, due to the way it had to be before the Prim PF days.

My question.

Is there an easier process to Lower z-height on all objects, to 0 in a global way. I suspect not. Or am I going to have to lower each and every object individually? Is there any other way you guys know where I can try to simply the conversion?

Thanks

This is an error while playing a table. VPX crashed a few seconds after starting the table, it was after a hit event on a target.

Is it possible to show a more detailed texture in editor? At the moment textures are shown very low res in my opinion.

Sorry that's not possible because we are using the old GDI interface for the editor and that one has really limited image features. Or to be more precise: I don't know any other features as those we are using at the moment ;)

Thanks

The maximum number of frames allowed, the VP9 manual says that the maximum number is 16 Digit Range.

The maximum number of frames allowed, the VP9 manual says that the maximum number is 16 Digit Range.

Even if the number of available frames in a reel is a 16 digit number, I guess you won't be able to make an image with so many frames :)

I run VPX_6_beta_rev3628 with Windows 10 and I often have crash problems

I'm working on a new table and I have to open other ones to collect some parts (primitives ...), and it seems VPX doesn't like to have two tables opened in the same time

This time, I closed the table I was working on, and I opened a new one, played a game, and had a crash when closing it

16 frames is an old limit, here I used 22 frames.
As already said, it is only a curiosity.

I wrote digits, that's about 9999.9999.9999.9999 frames :) Thats why I said you'll never use them all :)

In Ghostbusters Slimer I used 80 frames for each digit of the DMD, the same as in Pokemon and Gargamel Park.
