Monster Bash plays silky smooth for me. :)
Thanks for releasing it UW.
I did have to change the very first VarHidden in the Script to a 0 in order to get the DMD to show up.
Just took a stab in the dark with that one and it worked. lol
Now it has been so long since I have played a desktop table I need to try and remember how to rotate the DMD so it is not sideways.

Did you put the new core.vbs from the vp10 zip file in your tables folder. If you did you shouldnt need to change the hidden variable. The dmd will display on the inter,al vp dmd

I was playing around will this on my laptop and was having the same issue as Arcade4, flipping the first VarHidden gave me the usual orange/black DMD. I then upgraded my vpinmame.dll to 2.06 reverted the script back to it's original form, and the DMD looks like the green/black DMD that UW posted a few pages page. Not sure if that is the fix, but it worked for me.

Z

Note: this is my test machine so my cab would of had the newest vpinmame already,

Thanks. I will check that out.

It could be an issue. I am using my Desktop PC for this testing phase and not my cabinet.

I have not updated VP on it in awhile.

You do need the absolutely latest VPM to take advantage of the DMD text box that UW uses on MB

OK. Anyone have a link? I can't find a 2.06 anywhere I look.

I used to do this stuff with my eyes closed, but it has been awhile.

However VP 10 seems to run just fine so far except for this DMD problem.

Okay, big improvement for me with rev. 1632.  JP's table has always played at normal speed, no stutter at all, but Vern's World and MB were totally unplayable.  Like I stated before it was like I was playing them on a 30 year old computer.

However, with rev. 1632 both tables are now very playable. They are a little sluggish but a major improvement over the previous version.  I still would like to see a recommended settings just to make sure I have the best config possible, but it's pretty good so far.

Damn still unplayable here. So far this is shit world for me!! :hmm: There's got to be something I'm missing. J/K Fren, we like your tables, just laughing at my own mishap here.

But I am using the included core VBS. I have now copied it over 3 times just to be sure.

And Pinhead45, I don't think there is a version 1632.

I think Shadoclassic transposed his numbers from 1623.

This is the 3.43 VBS right? I don't understand where is the included core VBS?

Toxie - Is the nightday parameter read only from the script? Or can it be used in script to actually change the setting?

for now it can only be read..

Bingo. We have a winner.

That link is very easy to miss being in the second post of the thread.

After copying over that .dll the DMD now appears in Green just like the earlier screenshot.

Yeah. The light mods like the mad scientisits eyes would be no problem. But as everything on the table is a 3d mesh. Id like to keep it that way, rather then using images on walls or ramps. Ill have a look through that page though

Ill take a look through some of those mods. Maybe zany or dark can model a few.

On the vp10 thing.
maybe its me or the code im using but i have noticed when updating lights i sometimes have to completely replace a light with a new one. Maybe they are retaining some of the old light object properties. Maybe just an anomoly. As it only happens sometimes that they dont work.

I am noticing that some hit events arent regestering. Not sure if that is physics or object related.

Please try to somehow keep/make up a repro case for these and post it here (or even better in the bug tracker).

Toxie may seem silly but you should have dt&FS settings on starter table currently only has dt settings It's so nice of a table I play it full screen in cab! Lol! And I must say I have torn that starter table up many times and learned a bunch. Thanks guys
